If you're like us, friendly Canadians, you just need a nice place to stay, not an expensive one. We have a nice sized house with an empty upstairs bedroom just waiting for you. Our modern four-bedroom house was built in 2010. The house is open and airy; the bedroom has a nice double size bed and full bath just outside the door. The bathroom is shared with two teenagers, but very clean. Towels and sheets provided.
Kitchen and living room are common areas. We have DVD, Xbox, washer & dryer, iron and ironing board.
Back patio backs up to the greenbelt, very peaceful to read or drink your morning coffee; we also have an outdoor grill for your use.
We are located just off I-35 & 114 in North Fort Worth, 15 minutes from Cabelas and Alliance Airport, 5 minutes from Texas Motor Speedway (practically across from the TMS), 25 minutes from downtown Fort Worth, 20 minutes from Southlake, 25 minutes from Grapevine Mills Mall & Bass Pro, 30 minutes from DFW airport.
We are easy to stay with, promise you won't go hungry with an assortment of breakfast goodies and a great cup of coffee. High speed internet (18 Mbps) and Wi-Fi are necessary parts of life and we have both.
Roxie, our hypoallergenic shorkie loves company. We are a Christian family, who does not drink, smoke or live loudly and we hope you will respect that.
Guests will have full access to kitchen, Wi Fi, utility room for washer & dryer, living & dining room, bathroom, back yard, entertainment console, TV.
Interaction with Guests
Interactions with guests in the past has ranged from seeing them only on initial welcoming all the way to pick-up from airport and sightseeing together. It really depends on the guests themselves.
This neighbourhood is very quiet and family oriented. The neighbours are very friendly so please be sure to give a "Hello" or a "Howdy" in passing! This neighborhood was recently developed. The street has very low traffic and is a great place to walk or jog in addition to providing ample parking.
The Golf Club at Champions Circle golf course is just on the other side of the street, where you can take in a beautiful sunset or just go for a walk/jog.
There are no bus routes; however, Hwy 35W is 2 miles away. There is parking included since the house features a 2-car driveway (not covered).
Other Things to Note
We do have one small hypoallergenic dog, a shorkie named Roxie. She is very friendly, loves visitors and does not shed.
We hope that you will be courteous and clean. Please remove your shoes We ask that you smoke only outside, we have a very nice sitting area on the back porch. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen as long as you clean up after yourselves. The exception to this is when we provide breakfast, we will, of course, take care of the tidy up. We are really very flexible and open minded. Communication is the key to having a positive experience, feel free to ask me anything that I may have missed or to clarify anything.
TIbor and Susan were very friendly and accommodating. They welcomed us into their family. The house was exactly as described - clean and spacious - and was in a safe neighborhood. Loved the bagel and cream cheese breakfasts! We would recommend them as a great place to stay when in Fort Worth.
This was second time here and both times were brief. I wish I could have stayed longer but my schedule wouldn't allow. It's a great place to crash.
Tibor and Susan were great hosts. The house was very nice and I felt safe parking my car full of my possessions in their driveway. They made me feel at home. I would definitely stay with them again if I was in the area.
My husband and I spent 4 nights with Susan and Tibor. This was our first airbnb experience and it couldn't have been any better. The room was very clean and comfortable. Sharing the bathroom with their teenagers was not an issue at all. The bathroom has double sinks and one was dedicated to us. Everything was just as described. It is a lovely quiet neighborhood. Breakfast options were plentiful and tasty. We were in town for the Nascar events at Texas Motor (website hidden) was very quick and easy to get to the track. Susan, Tibor and family (including Roxie) were very welcoming, helpful and easy-going. We would stay here again without hesitation. Thank you Susan and Tibor!
My decision to book was last-minute and my stay brief, but I had a pleasant experience and would stay again. Tibor and his family are a credit to Airbnb. Should I stay there again, I hope to get to know them better.
This was our first experience with airbnb service and it was great. The family is very nice and everything was like described. Perfect place if you going to the speed way stadium, what we did ( Red Bull Air Race). You can walk the distance in 40 Minutes or 6 minutes by car. We would definitely come back for another stay. Thanks again!
The listing description was accurate and our host was very helpful; Tibor (pronounced T boar) provided us with information about transportation. I was pleasantly surprised with the lightning fast response to all of our inquiries!
The home is located in a nice family-oriented neighborhood in North Fort Worth, so if you are planning on using the public transportation system (which we did), plan to find a way to a TRE station.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
Hello! As hosts our aim is to make sure your experience in Fort Worth is positive and memorable for all the right reasons. Our house has been described as lovely. It is quiet and private in a safe neighborhood. We are a friendly couple, originally from Ontario, Canada and relocated to Texas in 2012. We are happily married with two teenage children and have one small dog: a shorkie named Roxie. On Saturdays you will find me bicycling with a cycling group or participating in cycling charity rides, centuries & gran fondos. Reading is my other passion (Sapere Aude).
My motto is, “Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today.”
We don't drink, party, or smoke and love to travel.
