Our room smelled of mildew because of our bedding. The mattress was the worst we have had at an Airbnb. You could feel the springs sleeping on it. The place had a great kitchen and our own nice bathroom. The place had a great parking lot for us to use. If we had a better room in this house, we might stay there again. We would not stay in the elephant room due to the mattress and bedding.

The house is located on a beautiful, quiet block in Jamaica Plain. It's not the closest to public transportation if you're looking for a place in close proximity to the T. We didn't mind the walk as we got to see the neighborhood. The home is close to a number of restaurants and shops and is in a very walkable neighborhood. Our room was spacious and clean with a lovely bathroom. The home is beautifully decorated and had all of the amenities that we needed. Our host was attentive and very responsive to any and all of our questions. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

Response from Robin:
Hi Samla, I have to laugh because I just read a review that said my house is very close to the station and super (URL HIDDEN) a 12-15 min walk as advertised. Just to help clarify for the readers, if you rarely walk places, it's been my experience is that you will think it's far and inconvenient; if you walk a lot you will think it's super easy and close...perceptions are different so I'm always entertained by getting opposite reactions, it's all part of the fun!

We didn't meet the hosts in person but they were quick to reply and communicated everything very thoroughly. The home was spacious, clean, unique and stylish. the yard and parking space was an awesome bonus, The home was walkable to many nice neighborhood spots. Close to bus that brings you downtown.

The best kind of stay - only pleasant surprises. The Elephant Room was as pictured and expected. The private bathroom was down a short hall past the stairwell, but it worked fine. We barely knew there were other guests in the other two guest rooms. We did appreciate the AC for a couple nights and it cooled the room more than adequately. The enormous kitchen was a pleasant surprise and was well stocked for light breakfast. One tip for Uber and Lyft users - Try #802, or #798 to keep the drivers on the right street instead of seeing them being directed around and back of the "flag lot" onto a different street.

Response from Robin:
Hi Thomas thank you so much for your detailed feedback! Yes I have heard that for some reason Uber keeps mapping to the other street, very frustrating. Good idea about adding history of house. We hope you come back again! Robin

Robin's place was lovely! Super short walk to the T station for commute into the city, and it was really nice to have breakfast available if you choose to partake. Having your own bathroom was also a major perk. Highly recommend!

The elephant room was fabulous! I loved the comfort and ease of the room. The bathroom was down the the hall but it was not out of reach and I had it all to myself. I felt completely comfortable using the kitchen, and the other amenities. Victoria was very helpful with whatever I needed. I am so grateful for this Airbnb host!!
