About this listing
Moan Laur Bed and Breakfast is a 120 year old Irish cottage set over looking the Slieve Mish Mountains. We are 25 minutes from Dingle town.
The bedrooms of which I have 3, are large and modern. The showers are large with shower gels provided. Tea making facilities are available too.
You can also kick back and relax in the lounge/common area. A fire will be lit in the winter making it very cosy.
The Dingle Peninsula is a beautiful place to explore.
I look forward to meeting you.
Cosy B&B on the Dingle Peninsula with great mountain views. Close to the hiking trail "The Dingle Way".
The B&B is ideally situated between the small towns of Tralee (County Town) 20 minutes drive away and Dingle a 25 minute drive and 45 minutes from Killarney.
Ashes pub in the village of Camp which is 3 miles from the B&B is the closest - it serves great food all day in the summer till 9pm.
The Junction pub in Camp has music on a sunday night from 9pm and serves food all day, and the Railway pub next door has music from 7pm. Sammy's on Inch beach is a 10 minute drive away. The restaurant has large windows over looking the ocean and a 3 mile long beach to walk off those desserts.
There is a regular bus service that operates out of Tralee and Dingle. The bus on request will stop right outside the Bed and Breakfast and again when you want to hop aboard just stand outside the B&B hold out your hand when you see the bus approaching and it will stop.
All rooms are large with en-suite and have tea making facilities.
Parking and WIFI also.
All bed linen and towels are provided as is breakfast in the price.
The B&B is on a 2.5 acre plot with views over the Slieve Mish Mountain range opposite.
Hi I've been living on the Dingle Peninsula, County Kerry, Ireland for the last 11 years.
I'm originally from the UK , but gave up the corporate lifeIn Brighton to run a Bed and Breakfast. I have one daughter who is 10 years old born in 2005.
The Bed and Breakfast is in the country side with mountain views. Its 25 minutes drive to Dingle town, and 40 minutes to Killarney and 40 minutes drive from Kerry Airport.
There is a regular bus service which will operate from outside of the Bed and Breakfast, you just have to hold out your hand and the bus will stop.
There is a petrol station in my closest village (3 miles/5 Kilometres) which houses a mini super market, cafe, ATM and launderette.
Ashes bar in the village serves great food as does the Junction pub. On a Sunday night at 7pm the Junction provides traditional Irish music - which is always good fun.
I'm a sociable, chatty and warm person who loves getting to know people from all over the world. The house is my own home so I like my guests to also feel at home. I'm a relaxed person but like fun times too.
My daughter has been raised in the Bed and Breakfast and as she is on her own, loves it when other kids come to stay.
I enjoy reading, socializing with friends, skiing, horse riding, movies and running the B&B.
You only live once so do it with no regrets and to the full.
Look forward to meeting you.
