The Space

Cosy B&B on the Dingle Peninsula with great mountain views. Close to the hiking trail "The Dingle Way".
The B&B is ideally situated between the small towns of Tralee (County Town) 20 minutes drive away and Dingle a 25 minute drive and 45 minutes from Killarney.
Ashes pub in the village of Camp which is 3 miles from the B&B is the closest - it serves great food all day in the summer till 9pm.
The Junction pub in Camp has music on a sunday night from 9pm and serves food all day, and the Railway pub next door has music from 7pm. Sammy's on Inch beach is a 10 minute drive away. The restaurant has large windows over looking the ocean and a 3 mile long beach to walk off those desserts.

There is a regular bus service that operates out of Tralee and Dingle. The bus on request will stop right outside the Bed and Breakfast and again when you want to hop aboard just stand outside the B&B hold out your hand when you see the bus approaching and it will stop.

All rooms are large with en-suite and have tea making facilities.
Parking and WIFI also.
All bed linen and towels are provided as is breakfast in the price.
The B&B is on a 2.5 acre plot with views over the Slieve Mish Mountain range opposite.

  • Rachel was a fantastic host and her place was lovely, comfortable, and well placed in the middle of the Dingle Penninsula. Everything was very clean and relaxing. Rachel cooked a wonderful breakfast for each of the mornings we were there. She also gave us some excellent tips on visiting the surrounding sites (the kind of tips not found in any guidebook). Rachel's daughter was lovely and unselfishly shared her toys with my daughters. They greatly enjoyed playing together. Thank you for everything, Rachel!

  • We stayed at Rachel's for 2 days and it was such a nice stay! She and her little daughter were so nice and we really enjoyed our stay! Next time we are in Ireland, we will surely be back! Thank you Rachel! (:

  • Such a great experience!

Rachel's directions to her place were perfect. Our GPS had trouble with some addresses but we had no trouble finding the place, even in the waning light.

Upon our arrival Rachel greeted us and we immediately felt like we were being welcomed into an old friend's home. Rachel's daughter was watching Harry Potter in the living room next to a lovely fire. We were shown to our very spacious room and while my wife took a nap I went downstairs to chat with our host.

Rachel made some great suggestions for restaurants in the area. And for breakfast she provided us with cereal, fruit, eggs, much! It was really lovely.

While we were there another couple spent a night in the other room. They were also from the US and we had a great time at breakfast chatting with them.

The location was great with easy access to Dingle and to Tralee. Highly recommended!

    Thanks Rachel!

  • We had a lovely time staying with Rachel and her daughter. Our room was huge, with a beautiful view of the mountain behind the house. Rachel was very accommodating and relaxed, offering up lots of information about the area around the peninsula. We had some great chats with Rachael in the evenings as well.

  • When we drove up the winding road to Moan Laur, I was impressed by the stark beauty of the landscape…this is something out of a dream…rolling hills perfect for trekking and exploring nature. Rachel and her charming daughter are the perfect hostesses. Their home is absolutely a magical retreat filled with warmth and love. My bedroom faced the mountain range and I loved waking up to the sun shining on the face of the mountains. My daughter and I enjoyed a lovely chat with Rachel on her new swing facing the mountains in the cool of the evening. We enjoyed a bountiful breakfast home cooked by Rachel which was delightful and filling. My son-in-law loved Inch Beach, a windsurfer’s paradise with Sammys’s Restaurant serving great food! We recommend Moan Laur as a must do while on the Dingle Peninsula…you won’t be disappointed! Thank you Rachel!

  • Rachel was a great hostess, the house is beautiful. We stopped in the upstairs room (Triple) which has a balcony overlooking the garden & a view to die for.
Rachel made sure we were well looked after & my girls adored her daughter & Lilly the cutest dog in the world.
    See you next time. :-))

Hi I've been living on the Dingle Peninsula, County Kerry, Ireland for the last 10 years. I'm originally from the UK , but gave up the corporate lifeIn Brighton to run a Bed and Breakfast. I have one daughter who is 8 years old born in 2005. The Bed and Breakfast is in the country side with mountain views. Its 25 minutes drive to Dingle town, and 40 minutes to Killarney and 40 minutes drive from Kerry Airport. There is a regular bus service which will operate from outside of the Bed and Breakfast, you just have to hold out your hand and the bus will stop. There is a petrol station in my closest village (3 miles) which houses a mini super market, ATM and launderette. Ashes bar in the village serves great food as does the Junction pub. On a Sunday night at 7pm the Junction provides traditional Irish music - which is always good fun. I'm a sociable, chatty and warm person who loves getting to know people from all over the world. The house is my own home so I like my guests to also feel at home. I'm a relaxed person but like fun times too. My daughter has been raised in the Bed and Breakfast and as she is on her own, loves it when other kids come to stay. I enjoy reading, socializing with friends, skiing, horse riding, movies and running the B&B. You only live once so do it with no regrets and to the full. Look forward to meeting you.
