I offer information about the surrounding area and answer any questions
The B and B is situated in the country side just 5 kilometres from Camp village on the Dingle Peninsula. The Dingle way hiking trail is out the back of the house and goes all the way around the Peninsula.
The B and B is in a quiet location where its best to drive to the nearest pub/restaurant. You can walk but it will take 40 minutes but only 5 minutes by car.
There is a 2 hourly bus service. The bus will stop right outside the B and B. It runs from Tralee to Dingle.
Such a fantastic stay. Rachel and her daughter were so friendly and welcoming. Loved the dogs too! Rachel gave us direction to a great addition to our trip- Inch Beach. She even let us use her HBO to watch Game of Thrones! She cooked us a delicious breakfast and we truly felt at home. Views are spectacular too. Would love to stay there again.
Rachel and her daughter were so hospitable and nice to get to know. When we arrived, Rachel made us tea. We had gotten lost and so we were so sleepy and the tea and warm fire were nice. It was in a pretty rural location so if some wanted to be close to the city, it will be a little drive to Dingle or elsewhere.
The food was delicious in the morning- she even made us bacon and pancakes although I'm not sure that is typical. It was a pleasant surprise!
Was a little chilly so bring warm clothing when you sleep.
I'm sorry you were a bit chilly guys. I did notice in your room that the radiator had been turned off (i'm guessing you had turned the dial the wrong way and turned it off) as the heating for the house was on. I hope too that you used the blankets provided.
My site does say I'm 25 minutes from Dingle so usually guests book with me who want to rest up in the peace and quiet of the country side. The village of Camp is a short 5 minute drive where you can find 4 pubs.
I do often offer pancakes to other guests and am pleased that you enjoyed them.
Hope to see you again. Happy adventuring!
We enjoyed our stay at Mon Lauer. Rachel was very welcoming and cooked us up some us some great breakfasts! She was also able to recommend places to go for dinner and some traditional music.
Moan Laur is in a beautiful location and the bedroom was fantastic - a view of the hills, very comfortable bed and bedding, and a lovely ensuite bathroom, complete privacy. It is a stunning 25 minute drive to Dingle, the Junction Pub in Camp has really great food and is a 5 minute drive. Rachel is a lovely host, very accommodating, helpful, great breakfasts and a beautiful home.
Rachel was a great host and very welcoming. Our room was clean and a good size with a lovely view of the mountain behind. We enjoyed our stay. Rachel had left out breakfast with a great selection of cereals, fruit and milk.

Hi I've been living on the Dingle Peninsula, County Kerry, Ireland for the last 11 years.
I'm originally from the UK , but gave up the corporate lifeIn Brighton to run a Bed and Breakfast. I have one daughter who is 9 years old born in 2005.
The Bed and Breakfast is in the country side with mountain views. Its 25 minutes drive to Dingle town, and 40 minutes to Killarney and 40 minutes drive from Kerry Airport.
There is a regular bus service which will operate from outside of the Bed and Breakfast, you just have to hold out your hand and the bus will stop.
There is a petrol station in my closest village (3 miles/5 Kilometres) which houses a mini super market, cafe, ATM and launderette.
Ashes bar in the village serves great food as does the Junction pub. On a Sunday night at 7pm the Junction provides traditional Irish music - which is always good fun.
I'm a sociable, chatty and warm person who loves getting to know people from all over the world. The house is my own home so I like my guests to also feel at home. I'm a relaxed person but like fun times too.
My daughter has been raised in the Bed and Breakfast and as she is on her own, loves it when other kids come to stay.
I enjoy reading, socializing with friends, skiing, horse riding, movies and running the B&B.
You only live once so do it with no regrets and to the full.
Look forward to meeting you.
