  • On my first try with airbnb, I could not have asked for a better experience than with Rachel. She welcomed my friend and I on very short notice and was absolutely delightful. After a long travel day, staying in comfy beds, warm home and far away from any noise- was beyond a treat. Wonderful host, great breakfast... Grand!

  • Rachel,

Thanks so much for welcoming us into your home! You are so lucky to live in such a lovely area! We really enjoyed the time we spent exploring the Dingle Peninsula! Thanks also for your great travel advice. That really helped us to make the most of our remaining time in Ireland.

    Grace say "hi" to Katalyn!

  • Rachel has a lovely BnB in the hills on the Dingle Peninsula. We stayed for only one night but Rachel went to extra trouble to help us with our meal arrangements. The room was lovely and the bed was huge!! Very quiet and peaceful. Michael had a full Irish breakfast perfectly cooked (not too greasy) while I had muesli, yoghurt and fresh cut fruit. Just beautiful. Highly recommended.

  • Rachel was a gracious host, we had a lovely time at her place, the breakfast was very good. And she gave us good advice on where to dine. The room was clean and cozy, the bed was very comfortable. We stayed for one night and it was great, wish we could have stayed longer.

  • My 4 day stay was extended 2 more days when I got very ill. Rachel was so gracious and kind and it was a good place to lay one's head. The location is perfect for seeing the main sites in the area. The breakfast was delicious (the one I ate before I got ill!), and Rachel kindly made me soft-boiled eggs when I was up to eating again. Katilin was quite charming, too, as was the very affable and adorable dog Lily. I wish I had been healthier to have really enjoyed the area, but as I told Rachel, if I was going to be stuck somewhere for 6 days, I'm glad it was there!

  • The beautiful house is easily reachable by car and at the same time feels very secluded. The location was perfect for exploring the Dingle peninsula, as well as the Ring of Kerry. The room is spacious and clean, with a nice bathroom and terrific view over the hills. Rachel is a very kind and welcoming host, we had a great time with her. We definitely recommend staying here!

Hi I've been living on the Dingle Peninsula, County Kerry, Ireland for the last 10 years. I'm originally from the UK , but gave up the corporate lifeIn Brighton to run a Bed and Breakfast. I have one daughter who is 8 years old born in 2005. The Bed and Breakfast is in the country side with mountain views. Its 25 minutes drive to Dingle town, and 40 minutes to Killarney and 40 minutes drive from Kerry Airport. There is a regular bus service which will operate from outside of the Bed and Breakfast, you just have to hold out your hand and the bus will stop. There is a petrol station in my closest village (3 miles) which houses a mini super market, ATM and launderette. Ashes bar in the village serves great food as does the Junction pub. On a Sunday night at 7pm the Junction provides traditional Irish music - which is always good fun. I'm a sociable, chatty and warm person who loves getting to know people from all over the world. The house is my own home so I like my guests to also feel at home. I'm a relaxed person but like fun times too. My daughter has been raised in the Bed and Breakfast and as she is on her own, loves it when other kids come to stay. I enjoy reading, socializing with friends, skiing, horse riding, movies and running the B&B. You only live once so do it with no regrets and to the full. Look forward to meeting you.
