We had a lovely time with Rachel at Moan Laur. It's situated right at he foot of the mountain with lovely rugged views from the bedroom. Rachel made us lovely breakfast each morning and accommodated special dietary requirements. She shares loads of helpful information and suggestions. We had some great chats. There is so much to do around here we ran out of time and would love to come back.
We loved Dingle and Rachel + family. My son especially got along with Rachel's dog piper. The room was very nice. The view is spectacular. You can see the mountains and a walking path in the distance. Very picturesque.
The shared area makes you feel at home. There's a lot to do on dingle peninsula and I would give yourself a few days there. Especially if u like to hike; there are a lot of good walks to take. We would seek out Rachel's place if traveling here again and recommend it to friends.
The place was great, and so was the host. nice clean house. Rachel was very friendly and warm. overall nice stay, next time we'll try Sammy's for dinner ;)
As soon as we drove up I had to take a photo because the area surrounding the house is so beautiful! Mist lazily moving across the mountains. Rachel is very welcoming and as soon as we go in was full of tips for traveling the surrounding area. She was also very flexible when we found out we would be arriving a bit later then planned. We had the upstairs room and the view from our balcony was breath taking. Morning, noon or night I could just spend all my time staring out the window at the fields, the mist and mountains. The beds were very comfortable and having our own private bathroom was nice. The shower was great and the bathroom even had a sky light that could open up to let some cool mountain air in afterwards. Rachel also made us an excellent breakfast that kept us going during our travels that day. I would definitely recommend staying with Rachel if you want an excellent country side view and a true B&B experience.
Rachels home is very familiar. She and her dog welcomed us. The dog is cute :-). The room is big with a famous view to the hills. Also good for a family because there were 3 beds. Own bathroom with shower. Breakfast was great. All you need. Rachel cooked ham, scrambled eggs, mushroom, tomatos and as a starter we had creamy yoghurt, milk, cuted fresh fruits and flakes. Enjoyed the two nights and recommend it for couples, singles and families.

About the Host, Rachel
Hi I've been living on the Dingle Peninsula, County Kerry, Ireland for the last 11 years.
I'm originally from the UK , but gave up the corporate lifeIn Brighton to run a Bed and Breakfast. I have one daughter who is 10 years old born in 2005.
The Bed and Breakfast is in the country side with mountain views. Its 25 minutes drive to Dingle town, and 40 minutes to Killarney and 40 minutes drive from Kerry Airport.
There is a regular bus service which will operate from outside of the Bed and Breakfast, you just have to hold out your hand and the bus will stop.
There is a petrol station in my closest village (3 miles/5 Kilometres) which houses a mini super market, cafe, ATM and launderette.
Ashes bar in the village serves great food as does the Junction pub. On a Sunday night at 7pm the Junction provides traditional Irish music - which is always good fun.
I'm a sociable, chatty and warm person who loves getting to know people from all over the world. The house is my own home so I like my guests to also feel at home. I'm a relaxed person but like fun times too.
My daughter has been raised in the Bed and Breakfast and as she is on her own, loves it when other kids come to stay.
I enjoy reading, socializing with friends, skiing, horse riding, movies and running the B&B.
You only live once so do it with no regrets and to the full.
Look forward to meeting you.
