I had a great time at Moan Laur. Rachel and her 'family' we're very welcoming and the room was spacious and bright. Breakfast was made for me each morning- Rachel even went out of her way to get me soy milk!! A quiet place to rest (under the gaze of a big beautiful mountain) after adventurous days in dingle and the ring of Kerry- I look forward to my next stay here.
Rachel was an absolute lovely host. Her house is very warm and welcoming and the view from the room is just spectacular. She had great recommendations and even invited me to join her and some friends at the beach for a cookout upon my arrival. I just loved her pets as well. The fluffy puppy was just too cute. I can't say enough good things about my time spent at Moan Laur.
Rachel is a great host, friendly and helpful. Her house is lovely, cosy and clean. My two kids didn't want to leave! I will definetely be coming back!
Wonderful! Looks are pleasantly deceiving-the room is far bigger than the photo implies, the view from your patio is far grander than you could imagine, the hot breakfast next to the fireplace amazing, and the only thing that tops all that is Rachel's warm and easy hospitality! Perfect location on the Dingle Penn, and the comfiest bed slept in so far! Thank you- we hope to come again someday!
Rachel was a great host. I stayed at her house with my parents for two nights, sharing a family room with a double bed and two single beds. Everything was tidy, clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the beautiful view from our room as well as the nice breakfast!
The place is perfect to explore the Dingle Peninsula and the Ring of Kerry. Also Rachel's recommondations for restaurants and trips were really helpful.
Thanks Rachel for hosting us; our stay was lovely!
Rachelle est très accueillante et très disponible. Sa maison est très confortable : grande et très pratique. Rachel nous a préparé un fabuleux breakfast traditionnel. Je vous recommande d'aller séjourner chez elle, vous serez très bien reçu.
Rachel is just tops! She is an innkeeper who just goes out of her way to make you feel special. Not only did she save us from the rain on a chilly night by recovering(phone number hidden) our wet selves from the village pub, but she owns a sweet, tidy B&B - warm, tidy, well-appointed rooms, and interesting details to examine. Breakfast was great, hot and filling, and shortly after the sun rose, she set us back on our way on the Kerry Camino - with the most accurate directions we found in Ireland! A perfect experience - Well done, Rachel!

About the Host, Rachel
Hi I've been living on the Dingle Peninsula, County Kerry, Ireland for the last 11 years.
I'm originally from the UK , but gave up the corporate lifeIn Brighton to run a Bed and Breakfast. I have one daughter who is 9 years old born in 2005.
The Bed and Breakfast is in the country side with mountain views. Its 25 minutes drive to Dingle town, and 40 minutes to Killarney and 40 minutes drive from Kerry Airport.
There is a regular bus service which will operate from outside of the Bed and Breakfast, you just have to hold out your hand and the bus will stop.
There is a petrol station in my closest village (3 miles/5 Kilometres) which houses a mini super market, cafe, ATM and launderette.
Ashes bar in the village serves great food as does the Junction pub. On a Sunday night at 7pm the Junction provides traditional Irish music - which is always good fun.
I'm a sociable, chatty and warm person who loves getting to know people from all over the world. The house is my own home so I like my guests to also feel at home. I'm a relaxed person but like fun times too.
My daughter has been raised in the Bed and Breakfast and as she is on her own, loves it when other kids come to stay.
I enjoy reading, socializing with friends, skiing, horse riding, movies and running the B&B.
You only live once so do it with no regrets and to the full.
Look forward to meeting you.
