Staying at the Renate's apartment was wonderful! There were everything we needed at flat. The perfect location and cosiness of that chilly place made us feel happy. We enjoyed staying at Munich! Thanks to Renate. Liudmila & Alexey, Moscow, Russia.
Renate's apartment is in an excellent location. It is very close to a subway station, but we preferred tram - four stops to the city center.
Two supermarkets ALDI Süd and Tengelmann and very nice beer restaurant Augustiner Bräustuben are in five minute walking distance.
The apartment was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. We had everything we need.
I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Munich. Thanks a lot Renate.
The apartment was very cozy, nicely furnished, clean and tidy- just like in the photos. There is also a small kitchen which has everything needed for cooking. You can enjoy a beautiful church view from the balcony and from inside the room. On clear days, you can even see the Alps. A romantic option for a couple :)
The location is also good. It is one metro stop from the main train station. Not in the very heart of the old town, but you can reach it by walking in some 15 min. The area felt safe when coming back late. And if you come for October Fest, it is almost down below the balcony :)
Renate met me on the street and helped to find the place. She left a welcome gift and live flowers in the room, which made me feel like at home. I am very thankful for the stay and definitely recommend this place!
My husband and I stayed in the apartment with our baby daughter for 3 nights. Renate was very helpful and the apartment was very clean and organised. The location was perfect for Oktoberfest and a decent walk into the centre if Munich. Thank you for our stay.
Renate's apartment is located in a very nice place, near to a subway station. It is exactly as shown in the pictures. That view is really awesome.
Renate was very helpful in responding to our questions and the communication with her was perfect. We even received a welcome gift. Thank you Renate we enjoyed it very much.
We had a great time, despite the bad weather. I highly recommend this accommodation. Thanks
Renate was timely, available, and her place was immaculate. It had a fantastic view of Munich and we couldn't have asked for a better hostess. Only catch was the bed was hard, but it was hardly a deturrent! I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Bavaria.
Renate's apartment was in a perfect location, and Renate was very helpful in responding to our questions. The apartment was very clean and exactly as shown in the pictures.
We had a great time and would certainly recommend this accommodation. Thanks
Awesome apartment, awesome host, and awesome experience! I was in Munich for business and decided to use Airbnb to get more bang for my buck (as European hotels leave much to be desired compared to US hotels). Boy did it work out!
Renate was kind enough to come meet me outside as I was having trouble finding the place. For future reference, the apartment is located within the large building just west of Oktoberfest park. There's a "Saturn" store and some furniture store on the bottom floor, and it's easy to find if you know that.
The flat itself is a small studio with a phenomenal view of the park. Bed was comfy enough and having a balcony was a great bonus. Shower was a bit lacking because the shower head is only about 4 feet off the ground but I imagine taking a bath would have been fine. Didn't use any of the other amenities but I'm sure they were fine.
Overall this was a five-star stay and I'll definitely be renting here again when I return to Munich. Thanks Renate!
Renate was quick to respond to all of our emails and everything went smoothly.
Great location!! You can't ask for more if you are in town for Oktoberfest. All reviews so far are accurate, and Renate is very gracious and easy to meet. I would highly recommend this flat, and am hoping to book it next time I'm in town.
