About This Listing
We are two experienced airbnbers who are going out of town in July 2015. We are offering our house for a fraction of the normal rate, but there's a catch: Our (amazing) cat Joey. He's a great friend who will need some attention while we're away.

We expect a lot of interest. Please message us and tell us why you're coming to Dublin, your experience with cats, and anything else you'd like to share.
Our house is a 2-floor terraced flat with 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a large backyard with seating, a very open kitchen (with dishwasher and laundry), a living room with fireplace, and a small study.
This time it comes with our cat, Joey. It's his house, too. He's easy to like, you'll get along great. (If you do not love cats, or have never looked after them, I'm afraid our place is not for you -thanks.)
We are located on a central bus line (the closest stop is across the street ~100m), so town is a mere 10 minute ride away. Shops are right around the corner, while the pub is steps from our front (website hidden). James Hospital is 900m down the road. Phoenix Park and the War Memorial Gardens are minutes away.
Temple Bar is 10 minutes by bus. Grafton and Henry Street 15mins by bus and O'Connell 15mins. Close enough to the city centre but just out enough from the hustle and bustle!
The real highlight of our place is the kitchen. In addition to being big, bright, and sunny, it's also very well equipped. We have nearly all of the pots, pans, knives, and gadgets you need to prepare a great meal.
Kilmainham is a good growing neighborhood. The main street with cafe, bakery, pharmacy, shop, barber, launderette and hair salon around the corner give you everything you need.
We are on the central bus line into the city. LUAS (street car) is a 5min walk.
There is no smoking allowed inside our house -- but we have a very large back garden, with seating and tables, where you can smoke, hang out, etc.
We take a €50 cleaning fee per booking, which covers the cleaning of sheets, vacuuming, emptying bins, and cleaning the bathroom. We ask that you do your best to keep the house tidy.
We ask that you keep noise to reasonable levels late at night. We have neighbors to one side. We like them, so please give them the same courtesy you would give your own neighbors.
We are very greatful to our hosts, our original booking fell through and Cassandra was gracious enough to book us in at last notice for the dates we needed. The appartment was clean and conveniently located on a main road only a short cab into town. Great little coffee shop just around the corner too!
Cassandra and Jordan were very friendly and helpful right from the start. Communication was quick, clear and reliable and could not have been better! I unfortunately did not get to meet them in person but I have to say that I could not have hoped for a better experience. Their place is beautiful and comfortable, exactly as described. I highly recommend them!

About the Host, Cassandra And Jordan
We are both professional students (medical student and PhD student). We love trying new foods and wines and love to travel and meet new people. We both like hiking and learning the ins and outs of new places. We are not very good at sitting still, so we are often out and about when we are not working. We know a lot about cool little day trips around Dublin and are happy to share and help you get the most out of your trip!
