Welcome to the holiday villas of 'Case di Sicilia'. The two villas are 600 m2. The pool is situated on the front side of villa 1. The pool is 7 by 5 meters. Next to the pool is a carport with on top a well designed lounge area with a bar, constructed in 2010. Both the pool and the lounge area are shared by both villas. The villas have hot and cold water, air conditioning, free use of internet. The villas's are perfectly situated, it's just a five minute walk to the sea. Lovina is situated on the north coast of Bali about 90 km north of the airport (Denpasar), a journey of about three hours by car on the good roads, with many attractions on the way.
East of the villas you will see a large piece of land owned by the royal family of Singaradja. From this side there are views of palm trees and meadows with cows, where you can enjoy the tranquility. The villas are well maintained and are located in the most beautiful street of Lovina. Both local and foreign people live in the street.
This villa is located on the back of the site overlooking the garden and on the second floor you will have great view over the coconut forest next to the villa. There is a terrace with a dining table. The ground floor features a kitchen. The living room includes a couch and two chairs and an extra double bed. The huge bathroom with a shower, bathtub and a toilet is downstairs. A second terrace is situated on the first floor.
On the first floor you will find two bedrooms with AC. Also a safetybox is available.
The villa has a cold water dispenser, cooffeemaker, refrigerator and the usual kitchen utensils.
The housekeeper will take care of the laundry, Washing and cleaning. In the villa, guests can use the kitchen to prepare food or drinks. It is possible to arrange the housekeeper to take care of the breakfast. She can also prepare a simple meal for you. Negotiate about the price with her.
Every day, a driving warung comes by the villas with cheap Balinese fresh food. For a delicious plate of rice and satay you'll pay around 1 euro. At the bakery, at the end of the street, you can buy delicious sandwiches, baguettes and pizzas. Our housekeeper can order products from the supermarket, which they will deliver at the villa's. You can also eat at one of Lovina's many restaurants. There are restaurants with an international cuisine but you will also find local food. The north of Bali offers a lot of excellent facilities and it is not as touristy as the south. Prices in the north are 30% lower compared to the south. In the village there is variety of shops, bars and nightlife.
- The Damai Hotel, a world class restaurant with a star kitchen located in the scenery mountain area near Lovina, is recommended. They serve a brunch on sunday.
- Sea breeze, wich is beautifully located at the seaside. They serve good coffee and offer a variety of international food.
Spice Beach Club, Wine and dine at the seaside, new beautiful place.
Très belle villa, très confortable, superbe piscine et les petits plats indonésiens servis par Cadek étaient succulents. Nous avons donc passé une très bonne semaine chez Boete.
Had an amazing stay well at De casa cicilie. Awesome location and only 5 minutes walking distance to local warung and balinese markets and a very friendly neighborhood. Transportation was very good not to mention the car seat for the safety of our 18 month old son. Driver was very helpful in pointing out places that were very good to eat at. The caretakers were very helpful, if we needed something or had questions to ask about food/water/artisans and the local markets they were more than willing to help out, even drop it at your doorstep. Boete was very easy going and like his grandfather and father alike worked with the balinese families in Bali for many years so he has an understanding of how the balinese people work. Once again an amazing stay at De casa cicilie. Trin, Liv and Quincy.
We spent one month at Boete's house and it was totally amazing stay. Boete is a perfect host: he was helping out in many ways providing excellent service. He could easily arrange yoga classes for me, he gave a hand when my macbook's charger had died and he was checking if everything is all right with the house and our stay every now and then. The house is big and cosy and there are plenty of cooking utensils so cooking at home is absolutely fine. But rather than that it's possible to arrange cooking service from Boete's housekeeper - Kadek. She can cook Indonesian food and do laundry. It's very convenient. The swimming pool is taken good care of as well as the ponds. The house is located pretty in the centre. It's just 5 min walk to a very nice European bakery where it's possible to buy real bread. If we ever decide to come to Lovina again we will definitely stay at Boete's house! Thank you Boete!
