  • I had a wonderful time in such a gorgeous little studio! It had everything I could need and was comfortable, quiet, and the perfect size. I didn't want to leave!!

  • The studio was a pleasure to stay in and exactly as advertised. It's a very clean, well equipped separate studio behind the house which Christine rents to a friendly family. The neighbourhood is very pleasant, and there's a convenient supermarket within a few minutes walk. Christine was informative before I arrived, and responded to any questions I had very quickly. I would definitely recommend staying here.

  • Listing exactly as described: very modern, comfortable studio in a quiet, residential area. The apartment had everything. Grocery store one block away. Parking on the street, and a bus stop for the free Palo Alto and Stanford shuttles less than one block away (to campus, the CalTrain station, downtown P.A., etc.). I highly recommend staying here!

  • Christine's apartment was perfect for me. It was my first 'airbnb' experience and it was great. I would definitely book with her again. The apartment was cute, clean, comfortable, private, and in a beautiful neighborhood!

  • Christine's studio is gorgeously designed, spotlessly clean, and a real pleasure. Thanks for a great stay!

  • It was great that these accommodations were exactly like the pictures on the site. What a great surprise. The studio is well equipped and in a lovely neighbourhood. Christine was a friendly host.

  • I came for a visit in the Silicon Valley for the first time and this was also my first time to use airbnb services.
Christine's studio is a great place to stay whether for a few weeks or a few months, it answered all my expectations and much more. The bed (which I was a bit worried about before my arrival) turned out to be very comfortable, there is a nice work space and great shower.
The studio is perfect for whoever comes alone to visit Palo Alto and the area.
BUT - the main reason I would like to recommend this place is Christine. Christine is one of the nicest people I met. She was interested in what I'm doing in order to try and help me with her personal contacts, she invited me to dinner and we had great conversation and she gave me enough privacy to feel as if I leave in my own apartment.
    Thank you Christine!

  • Christine was a fantastic host and her studio was perfect -- beautiful, thoughtful design, exceedingly clean and quiet, and a very convenient location. Highly recommended.

  • It is a marvel of design! I very much enjoyed the space and attention to detail. From the decor (grey, green white are the colors with some accents) to the amenities (linens, towels, dishes, cookware, coffee maker, coffee, cooking oil, small television, table/desk) provided by the host, it was an aesthetically pleasing, fully functional living space. The skylights are wonderfully placed and the closet is an engineering triumph. I felt as if the space were designed for the astronauts: a home away from home that one person can happily live in and work in, achieved in a small area. The kitchenette sink. stove, refrigerator are very useful. The sofa was folded flat and made up into a very comfortable bed, softly equipped. The space had excellent internet wireless connection and wireless phone reception. The little outdoor sitting area of the unit is another nice touch. I think Christine is a design genius. Also the location was great for a visitor to Stanford (10-12 min to Herrin Hall), parking on the quiet street is very convenient and it is a quick (7 min or so) drive to Town and Country mall where there is a Trader Joe's grocery, lots of restaurants and coffee shops and other shops. It was also only a 10-15 min drive in a different direction to a YMCA if you want work out in the gym or swim. If you want to swim outdoors, there is a public park with a pool (and a small grove of redwood trees) very close to the apartment.
