Charming historical house in a quiet residential neighborhood close to Alberta and Mississippi arts district. Centrally located. 10 min to Downtown!
Welcome to my Charming vintage guest house centrally located in one of the Portland oldest historic neighborhood in North Portland. Very close proximity to North Mississippi and NE Alberta Arts business districts and 10 min drive to downtown Portland.
It's 4bedrooms + 1 bath house. 1600sq. I have 5 beddings. (2 queen beds and 3 double sized beds.
The house is built in 1919 and maintains all historic charm. The house has old wood floor throughout the main floor. There are two bedrooms in downstairs and one huge bedroom in upstairs.
2 guest bedrooms in downstairs are charmingly decorated with very comfortable queen sized bed with Indonesian teak bench, Japanese antique prints, large closet and sunny large window.
Upstairs has two rooms with 3 double beds total. TV with basic cable is also upstairs.
The bathroom is equipped with all the amenities you need such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, and plenty of towels. Cozy and clean with shower room with vintage tiles (No tub).
Living room and dining room are filled with natural lights, very spacious and cozy place to relax. There is a small balcony right off of dining room which is covered by lovely grape vine. Mexican hammock is there for you to read and relax in the afternoon or in the evening with lanterns on for summer. There is a cozy fire place in the living room to curl up and relax in winter. There is high speed Wi-Fi throughout the house.
The kitchen is large and fully equipped with all the items for you to prepare any meal you like. Microwave and dishwasher are also available for your convenience.
I also have an adorable brick covered back patio that you can relax or dine anytime you would like. Covered front porch with vintage tile floor is also a great spot to relax.

Interaction with Guests
It is a self check in process. I try to come say hello and if you would like some orientation about Portland, I am happy to give you one.
The house is in an excellent quiet historical residential location in Inner Portland with easy access to public transportation and highways. Walking distance to organic grocery store called New Seasons, and incredible Rose Garden, Peninsula Park. You can go take a nap in this absolutely adorable and peaceful Rose Garden. For dining and shopping, there are artsy Mississippi district and Alberta Arts district close by which are full of great restaurants, cafes, shops and Yoga studios. You can either walk (30min) bike (15min) or take a bus (5min) there. We are also 10 min drive or 15 min direct bus ride to downtown and 15 min drive to the airport.
Excellent public transportation options to and from downtown and airport.
Bus stops are only a couple of blocks away from my house. Our house is on a bus line #4 and #6 via N. Mississippi biz district to downtown and Yellow Max Train (To Downtown/Airport).
Other Things to Note
The house is situated in a very quiet neighborhood and I have senior family occupies both side of my house.
If you are a group of younger generation and ready to party. This place is not for you.
We don't accept a party who plan to have any sort of events and gathering which involving people who are not staying in the house.
Children aged under 5 will not be counted towards the total number of your party.
1. No Smoking and no shoes in the guesthouse.
2. Pets are strictly forbidden. Any evidence of pet stay, deposit will not be refunded and we need to respectfully ask you to vacate the guesthouse.
3. People other than those in guest party are not permitted to stay overnight in the property.
4 No parties. This is a very quiet block with working families. Please observe quiet hours between 9pm and 9am. No events or gatherings are allowed which involve guests other than the one staying in the house.
5. We will not rent to vacationing students or singles under 25 years age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent.
6. Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money and the party will not be permitted to check in.
7.All of the units are privately owned. The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises. The homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest.
