Redbrick terraced house in the heart of a very old part of Dublin city. The house has two reception rooms, a kitchen and bathroom, all of which are available for use by people staying, including a microwave, washing machine/drier and power shower. The bedroom is a bright, uncluttered and a quiet double room and suitable for one person. The style of the house is a mixture of modern and old, with gas fired heating and wi-fi. It is full of character, colour and eclectic art!
Guests can expect towels, bed linen and toiletries to be provided. The bathroom is shared and is downstairs, which may not appeal to everyone...but this is reflected in the price! Breakfast will include cereal, juice, brown bread, fruit and ......Illy coffee!
The house is very close to may famous historical sites, such as St. Patrick's Cathedral, Christ Church, The Guinness Hop Store, Trinity College and The Liberties. The area has many restaurants, pubs and live music venues all within easy walking distance (See Wexford Street and Camden Street). The online site Le Cool Dublin is very good way of finding out what is currently on in Dublin.
The house is within minutes of various bus stops and the light rail service. The stop for the number 16 bus, which goes to and from the airport, is a ten minute walk from the house.
The house is comfortable, eclectic and quirky (a bit like the owner...) and provides a perfect base for exploring and experiencing the heart of Dublin!

Great to stay in Hellen's place; very cozy and clean place. It's very well located and Hellen is an incredible host.
Nice place in Dublin ! Clean and well situated, near to Stephen's Green, St Patrick's Cathedral... Helen is welcoming, intelligent and open minded. Great host !
Helen's house is a lovely and very cozy place to stay in Dublin for a few days if you need to. She asked me some days in advance about my preferences for breakfast (which is included in the price!!)
so she could buy whatever I told her. My bedroom was perfectly clean and bed was really comfortable.
Helen told me to feel like at home and use whatever appliances I needed. She is a nice girl who won't hesitate to help you if you need it.
Definitely a place to come back if I ever need to stay in Dublin again.
