Redbrick terraced house in the heart of a very old part of Dublin city. The house has two reception rooms, a kitchen and bathroom, all of which are available for use by people staying, including a microwave, washing machine/drier and power shower. The bedroom is a bright, uncluttered and a quiet double room and suitable for one person. The style of the house is a mixture of modern and old, with gas fired heating and wi-fi. It is full of character, colour and eclectic art!
Guests can expect towels, bed linen and toiletries to be provided. The bathroom is shared and is downstairs, which may not appeal to everyone...but this is reflected in the price! Breakfast will include cereal, juice, brown bread, fruit and ......Illy coffee!
The house is very close to may famous historical sites, such as St. Patrick's Cathedral, Christ Church, The Guinness Hop Store, Trinity College and The Liberties. The area has many restaurants, pubs and live music venues all within easy walking distance (See Wexford Street and Camden Street). The online site Le Cool Dublin is very good way of finding out what is currently on in Dublin.
The house is within minutes of various bus stops and the light rail service. The stop for the number 16 bus, which goes to and from the airport, is a ten minute walk from the house.
The house is comfortable, eclectic and quirky (a bit like the owner...) and provides a perfect base for exploring and experiencing the heart of Dublin!
To respect and enjoy the house. To be reasonably quiet if returning late at night. To put used dishes in the dishwasher.
To check out on time.

Helen was a great host. Her home is beautiful and the bed very comfortable! Easy to reach from the airport and is good for the centre of town. Helen even packed me off with breakfast!
I stayed for 5 nights in Helen's house, and can only say it is a beautiful place, with a great host. The location is perfect, you can walk quickly into town, and the neighbourhood is very interesting and yet peaceful. The room is marvellous, the bed extremely comfortable, and it is very quiet, which surprised me pleasantly. Overall, a brilliant place, which I highly recommend! 5 stars!
Had a lovely time with Helen! Her townhouse is convenient and I walked everywhere during my stay. The room is perfect for a great nights sleep after being out and about all day. She is friendly and welcoming, but gave me my privacy as well. Enjoyed my stay and would recommend to anyone! Thanks Helen! All the best!
Everything was perfect. really easy to reach from the airport and really central. Helene is a really nice person. Unfortunately we did not have chance to speak a lot because of my short stay but if I will be back in Edinburgh (I really hope so) I will definitely call Helene again.
The house is very clean and very comfortable and well located. Helen is very easy going and stimulating company. I can recommend Helen's home very highly.
Like many before me this is a great place and within walking distance of so many sites. The bed was so comfortable. It was the best sleep I have had on my trip
This town house was in a perfect location - walking distance to Stephen's Green and Temple Bar. My host was very laid back and easygoing which made my stay hassle free
I am easy going and hopefully welcoming to anyone who comes to stay in my house. I love art, colour, music and people. I have lived abroad, worked in different fields and I like meeting people from different countries.
