Lucy has an amazing apartment. Much nicer and bigger than conveyed in the photos. The apartment is in a great location and has everything that you would need for a short stay. Instructions for arriving at the unit were perfect and we had absolutely no issues. We had a fantastic time and would come back in a heartbeat. Thanks, Lucy!
Lucy's place was excellent. From the moment that I walked into her apartment, I felt a very good and warm and energy. You can tell that there is a lot of love emanating from there. The apartment is spacious, has AC (in the master bed) has a nice fan to keep air circulating in the living room, and has a nice bright open kitchen. The bed is ample, full sized, and comfortable. The neighborhood in my option was fantastic. Only a few blocks up to North 7 the L Train (which takes you straight to Midtown and three blocks down to Marcy Ave for the J, M, and Z lines. (which take you to SoHo, Alphabet City, and the Financial District. To the west you can walk down Bedford Ave and find any assortment of bars and restaurants and such excellent establishments such as The Rabbit Hole (my personal favorite), Salt + Charcoal, and The Beford Cheese Shop if you feel like making your own Charcuterie. To the East, you'll find your Latin variety markets and bodegas.
One important fact: The apartment is located on the 5th floor of a building with no elevator. Be ready!
Lucy was a great host that was very responsive to all of our needs before and during the stay. She made us feel very welcome and we felt very comfortable in her apartment.
Her apartment's location was also very nice in that it was a short walk to many good restaurants and a short commute into the city! We would highly recommend Lucy to anyone needing a place to stay in Brooklyn.
The apartment was clean and located in a wonderful neighborhood. We enjoyed how convenient it was to stay in Lucy's cute apartment. We would definitely stay here again!
Lucy's place was great! It is quintessential Brooklyn: cool layout, lots of plants everywhere, utilitarian kitchen. All in all a very cozy and comfortable space in a solid location only a few blocks walk to great restaurants and the waterfront. Lucy was easy to get in touch with, and we had no issues getting in and acquainted with the place. The listing is accurate, but the space is even cooler than the pictures. Thanks for a great stay, Lucy!
The apartment was perfectly situated, with a comfortable bed and living space. The stairs up in the building itself were a bit dirty, but hey, it is New York. We had a great stay in the heart of Brooklyn.
Lucy was thorough, thoughtful, responsive and kind. Her apartment is beautiful and cozy. A surprisingly quiet haven in the city and in a really special neighborhood. There is a sweet little family owned cafe around the corner (Abacadbra) where we we had multiple breakfasts and lunch. We spent two nights there and liked the place so much we decided to stay in for dinner our second night. The apartment has a casual, yet sophisticated style.
