You can also walk the Williamsburg Bridge and be in the city in about 20 minutes walk / 7-10 minutes bike ride
No smoking. Try not to break anything, be light on your feet and try and keep noise to a minimum (this is New York, walls are thin!) Have fun!
We arrived to Lucy's adorable apartment late at night, and very tired from a long flight, to find a lovely bottle of French wine and a cute, welcoming note. Her place was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was convenient and had easy access to subways and good food. Great place. Thanks Lucy!
This is a gorgeous flat that was perfectly described in a very central location, between 2 subway stops and close to the Williamsberg Bridge. The apartments decor is very homely, and the bed and couch are comfortable to sleep on.
We stayed during the busy Christmas/New Year break and Lucy was very flexible with our check in and check out. We were given all the necessary information for a lovely stay. We felt very safe in the area and apartment block. Lots of nice places to eat and go out.
The apartment was well heated, although radiator makes some noise during the night. The walls are a little thin, so you can hear the neighbors walking around, but this wasn't much of a bother.
We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Lucy!
We had a great time staying at Lucy's apartment. Lucy communicated with us soon after we booked with her and later provided all of the check-in details. She was not at the apartment when we arrived, but she left some helpful local information.
The apartment was comfortable and well furnished. It is very typical of an older, post-war Brooklyn apartment. Worn, but with character. Not spotless, but clean. Lucy's unit is on the 5th floor of a relatively simple walk up. The building is not very well kept, which is shame because there's a lot of potential there.
The building is on a quiet street, and easily walkable to the subway line (L) and the central neighborhood area. Very close to the Williamsburg Bridge if that's your thing.
Lucy was very helpful and very easy to communicate with. It was our first AirBNB experience and we were very impressed. The apartment was exactly as advertised. Clean, great location, safe and affordable. We appreciated the time she took writing us a note and leaving a guide book for the area. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Williamsburg within walking distance of everything.
Lucy's apartment was gorgeous and in such a great location! She was super prompt with getting back to me with any questions I had and even checked in to make sure we got in okay. She and her boyfriend left us the nicest map with all sorts of their favorite restaurants marked out and where the nearest subways were as well.
The apartment was sunny and clean with everything in the right place and although the host was out of town the key pick-up arrangements were flawless. Wish I had more time to enjoy the space. I would definitely stay here again.
Lucy's apartment was wonderful - exactly as shown in the photographs, very clean and beautifully presented, and in a great location right off Bedford St. All communication was straightforward and fast, and directions and key handover were very easy. She left us with some great recommendations for restaurants and bars in the area, as well as plenty of information about the apartment. I've stayed in many airbnb apartments, and this has by far been the best experience yet. Highly recommended!
