About this listing
The SoHo Dream located on arguably the best block in Manhattan - in the heart of SoHo on a tree-lined street and incredibly convenient to access all neighborhoods!
Important to note - the stove is currently not working due to building Construction
The SoHo Dream was completely renovated in February 2014. This apartment is located on one of the narrow, quiet, charming, old streets which runs from the heart of Greenwich Village into the heart of Soho. Within steps are all of Soho's great shopping, dining, galleries and bars. You are in the center of the lively, fun neighborhood which includes NYU, jazz clubs, SoHo shopping, the Angelika Film Center and IFC movie theaters, and restaurants for every palate (Spanish, Chinese, Ethiopian, Jamaican, Peruvian, French, etc.) as well as within walking distance to several major subway stations including the closest stop, Spring Street Station (A, C), West 4th Street station (A, C, E, B, D, F, V), Broadway/Lafayette (6 train), Prince Street (N, R), 7th Avenue (1).
It is a short walk to many other famous downtown neighborhoods, including the East Village, Gramercy Park, and the celebrity-favorites, the West Village and the Meatpacking District.
IMPORTANT FACTORS TO CONSIDER:
The apartment is on the 4th floor of an older building with no elevator. So, there are 3 flights of stairs to access it.
The apartment is best suited to single travelers or couples, as the bed is a Full Size bed (or Double), which is slightly smaller than a queen. Most couples and comfortable sharing this bed, although it is on the smaller side. Also, while the apartment has 3 windows, it is on the darker side, which is great for privacy and sleeping as there is no street noise like many Manhattan apartments but may not be a good fit for those seeking bright and sunny apartments.
Towels, linens, toilet paper, pots and pans, dishes and utensils; and, A new Nespresso Machine - please buy espresso pods at the store in SoHo on Prince Street or bring them with you.
WiFi - TV has RoKu hooked up with access to my Amazon Prime account and Netflix Streaming or the ability to run your own electronics through the TV but does not have cable. There is a stereo that plays CDs or a USB port for your IPod.
Interaction with Guests
Once you book my apartment, I will send you an email with a couple of questions so that we can arrange a time to check in.
There is no better neighborhood in New York City - SoHo.
Public transit is plentiful
Other Things to Note
My favorite restaurant is around the corner on Sullivan, called Blue Ribbon and open until 4am. It is where the chefs go to eat after they close their own restaurants.
Please take care of my newly renovated apartment. If something is damaged, please inform me immediately.
If your check in time is after 6pm and before 11am, there is an additional charge of $50.
