This space is comfortable and has a ton of character. The front entry room, living room area, and kitchen have a distinct island/beach bungalow ambiance and the master bedroom goes a little more toward rustic cabin. The spacious back patio area makes an ideal place to sit out, have a drink with friends, and soak in the atmosphere. I would recommend the spot for no more than two to three people looking to spend some time in West Palm and explore the Northwood scene as well as the nearby water and Clematis Street area. If you are looking for higher-end accommodations and valet parking and/or a gated community experience; this is not the airbnb for you. The bordering vacant building and parking lots sometimes have some activity and loitering, but nothing that seemed out of the ordinary for a neighborhood on the edge of South Florida metro area (kids on bikes, people with fishing poles walking home from the nearby park, the odd vagrant minding his own business). Christopher is an exceptional host; very attentive and always within reach. I would not hesitate to look at any property he lists or manages. Keep an eye on the neighborhood too, its only going to get better and better.

Christopher and his assistant were in constant communication, addressing our concerns and requests with professionalism and compassion. While the location left something to be desired, the house itself was accurate to the description: a one-story bungalow with blessedly powerful air conditioning and ample furniture.

Response from Christopher:
The neighborhood, Northwood, is an in-town urban area which is currently being revitalized. Our street is on the cuspid of the residential historic district and the redeveloping commercial area. Its not Park Avenue or Ocean Drive however the locale is safe, in walking distance to numerous shops and eateries and the house a secure and comfortable place.

This is a lovely, cottage-esque two bedroom in the heart of up and coming Northwood. Very clean with comfy furniture (the full size bed is very soft, the futon in the second bedroom is firm), a well-stocked kitchen, and a quaint, quiet patio. Central air in house works great. There are two abandoned buildings to the side and across the street that are frequented by vagrants but Chris went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe (there is an alarm system and a lock and deadbolt on both entrances to the house). Chris was quick to respond to any issue I had and there was even a gift basket (complete with treats for my dog!) upon arrival. My two weeks here were incredibly enjoyable. Highly recommend.

The location of Seagrape is close to a lot of great restaurants (walking distance). We ate at the Grilled Cheese Gallery where they serve all types of grilled cheese sandwiches and mac and cheese. We wanted to go back for their customized ice cream but could never fit it in our busy schedule. I had coffee at a nice coffee house on the same street. Flagler is nearby and it is a nice road to run on as it hugs the water. I ran many times during the week as it was great to get cooled off by the ocean breeze. The house is extremely clean when you enter and it is well lit throughout. There are two TVs in the house and we used them to watch cable TV and DVDs. They are a bit on the smaller side (20"-30") but we enjoyed watching TV when we did. The internet is really fast and reliable so I was able to get some work related stuff done. Never a technical issue with the modem and connecting to the network with multiple devices was a breeze. The patio is a nice place to relax. Chris supplies very comfortable chairs and an umbrella. Again, a nice place to feel the ocean breeze. There is a washer and dryer in the back so you can do laundry in a pinch. This is better than the alternative, which is the neighborhood laundromat. The kitchen has a decent sized fridge so we stocked up on breakfast items. We cooked a couple of meals on the stove and there are ample pots and pans for use. Adequate utensils are supplied for common use. There are also plates, mugs, glasses, bowls for use. We purchased paper plates to minimize the time spent on cleaning. The coffee maker was the perfect size and Chris supplies a microwave, toaster oven, and toaster. So if you prepare simple items, you have everything you need. There are only three things that were short of our expectations but we were able to work around them: 1) The shower stall is really narrow and the ceiling is low above the shower stall. My uncle is over 6 feet and he had to stoop down to get a full shower. I am much shorter but I still had to lean on one wall of the shower in order to adequately clean myself. My son, who is 11 years old, thought it was cool that he can actually reach the shower head. 2) The railroad noise got to be a bit much in the middle of the night. Around 2am-4am, you can hear loud and clear the blaring of the train's horns. Not much you can do about that except purchase a set of ear plugs. 3) The homeless folks are visible along the major roads and they occasionally hung out in the empty lot across the road since it is shady and cool. Upon first sight, this can be a bit unsettling but we...

My family and I provide short and long term rentals in the West Palm Beach area. With attention to detail we try to accommodate all of our guests needs. We are quite proud of our long term rental program with our average tenancy in the 4-5 year range.

In addition to managing rental properties, Christopher is and avid cyclist riding off and on road. He volunteers at Club Force the local mountain bike club which maintains the public trail system in Palm Beach County. He also leads many group rides on an off road. If your a biker we can hook you up with trails and maps for all of South Florida.
