About this listing
Cute, small, comfortable sanctuary located at the very end of the apartment with a step away from the kitchen and washroom. It is quiet, bright and quite happy space that will accomodate very comfortably one or two tiny people.
Welcome to my old and beautiful home, located in trendy part of Montreal, Outremont. I am very excited to share my soulful space with you. The apartment, located on the top floor of the triplex, has a great atmosphere, light and character. It is also very spacious. There are three bedrooms, plant room, 1 divided bathroom and two balconies, where one of them overlooks Mount Royal.
Part of the charm of the apartment is the fact that it is over hundred years old with a lot of original pieces and finishings including happy singing floors, kitchen cabinets, tub and sinks.
The stairs are not for a weak, there are 40 of them and it might feel like there is no end in a beginning, but in no time you will be flying up and down:)
Due to the 'smallness' of the room there isn't any closet in a room. There is a big closet near the entrance where you can leave bulky items or hang some items.
I greatly enjoy when people feel at home wherever they are thus I am happy to share most of the apartment including the living space and 2 balconies.
Interaction with Guests
I make sure my guests are comfortable being in the apartment, and that the time we share together is joyful, fun and also balanced. I also enjoy answering any questions, communication is a key for me. On numerous occasions I love to organize a dinner party and invite my guests and friends.
I am located in a side-middle in relation to other exciting neighbourhoods. Next to Mile End, Plateau, Park Ex, Little Italy. I solely relay on my feet for getting around.
It takes me 45 minutes to walk downtown and I usually do it cutting through a Mount Royal park. Bus is a 10 min ride and you can take it from a corner of Bernard and Parc. Passes can be bought on a bus (exact change is needed) but also in a little corner shop near the bus stop. It is downhill from here so I encourage you to ride a bike:)
My neighbourhood is also a home to second biggest Jewish community in a world.
Ahh they make great bagels:)
Metro stop is just around a corner (Ave Van Horne & Ave Wiseman) and bus stop one block away. There is free street parking. For those wanting to move more, there is Bixi bike station at the end of the street (rue Bernard). In the oposite direction you will find car rental spot (Budget Car Rental, 1145 Rue Van Horne).
Other Things to Note
I live in a spacious place thus I might have an extra person (roommate) staying temporary with me.
I will offer you the best stay I can. I am quiet yet cheerful, also helpful and welcoming. I love travelling and I did a lot of it myself. I will be delighted to share my home and experience with beautiful world travellers who in return I ask to respect my place and treat it like it was their own.
Smoking is OK on balconies. Please leave your outside shoes in a hallway.
