I spent a week here and it was a great experience. The home is quiet, comfortable, clean, airy. The best part was the incredibly welcoming hosts. They went out of their way to make sure that everything went well for me. It looks nice in photos - and it is. There were other guests here as well, and we mixed well. Plenty of scope for privacy if you need it, or socialising if you feel chatty. AAA

This is a lovely home with hosts who are truly wonderful! My stay was comfortable and cozy, and I found it to be the perfect place for my time in Barbados. The location is wonderful: a 3 minute walk to one of the best beaches in Barbados, a 10-15 minute walk to downtown Bridgetown, and a 2 minute walk to the main road where you easily catch buses and vans that take you all across the island. (That said, the home is very quiet and in a residential area.) Manuel was the most gracious, social, kind, and interesting Airbnb host I've ever had the pleasure of knowing! He took great care of all of us, offered us snacks and help exchanging money, gave us tips for seeing Barbados, and even offered us a tour of the island. Manuel is also extremely wise and is a great conversationalist. When it was time to leave, I was sad to go, because I really felt that Manuel and the other Airbnb guests had become wonderful new friends. I'll definitely be staying here the next time I visit Barbados (hopefully soon)!

Great little place in a residential area, one mile walk to Bridgetown. Manuel was an extremely helpful and accommodating host. Thank you again.

The location was perfect, 10 minues from the center of Bridgetown, 5 minutes from one of the best and longest beach in Barbados, very close also to public transport, bakery and in a safe area. The place was clean, the communication was fine. The place is probably not suitable for light sleepers because of some on and off fan upstairs. Also the many locks were quite annoying, have to lock/unlock 3 doors to use the restroom. Otherwise, if you don't need a lot of space, it's a very good value.

I stayed in the 'Bedroom with Patio' my first 4 nights, and loved it so much that I wanted to extend my stay here, and booked this room as it was available. If you're considering staying here and any of the rooms are available, go for it! You won't regret it. I live in Airbnb's pretty much full time as I attempt to visit 100 before 30 (Barbados was #86) and this was easily one of the most wonderful places I have had the fortune to stay at. I had planned to spread my 2 weeks over different parts of the island and ended up staying here the whole time! Rachel (Shelly) and Manuel were so welcoming and have a beautiful, traditional Bajan home. The location, just a short walk to Bridgetown city centre was perfect for exploring the island, beaches, nightlife and going for a run each morning. There is a nearby bakery where I couldn't get enough of the raisin slice! This room was great and had a cute little nook to sit and do my work at. The wifi is really strong and fast, it's so easy to get to from the airport, and there are beautiful beaches just a short walk from the house. The locals are very welcoming, be sure to take the time to say Good morning and Good afternoon! I would not hesitate to recommend this place to friends and family and hope to stay here when I return to Barbados some day! Thank you for such a fantastic time in Barbados and until we meet again, stay happy and healthy! Love, Brock
