Really nice area and the apartment is just fine. It's cozy and spacious for a one-room apartment in Tokyo, but I would have liked for it to be a little bit cleaner. If you're allergic to dust mites it can be tricky to stay here. Also the bed was not very comfortable. Small but handy kitchen, I didn't cook very much but everything worked. There's a beautiful park close by and lots of nice restaurants and cafés. You can walk to Nakameguro or Jiyugaoka in like 15 minutes. Eddy is a nice host, we didn't meet but he was quick to answer when I had a problem and very helpful!

Eddy is a very responsive host. The area had plenty of food, drink, supermarket options and was close to main parts of Tokyo. Although the walk to the station is about ten minutes there is a very beautiful park along the way and is therefore pleasant. The room size is somewhat spacious for a Tokyo apartment.

Eddy was very patient and prompt in answering all queries. He was very helpful even though all communication was via email. We had a great stay at his apartment - it was reasonably priced considering its location and size of the apartment. It was a short walk from the nearest train station and it took about 10 mins to reach Shibuya. The bathroom was flooded a few times, which we were not sure why. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a cheap and reasonable place to stay in Tokyo.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Eddy's place for 2 weeks and we really enjoyed it! Great location with many shops, markets, restaurants, and convenience stores in his neighborhood. We even stumbled on a great record store nearby with cheap, high quality vinyl, which was a major plus for us. The subway was so close and it made our travels around Tokyo smoother. His description is very accurate and his home was easy to find with his clear, detailed instructions from the subway. If we had any questions, he responded immediately. His flexible check in and check out times were very helpful and made us feel less pressured whereas hotels usually rush you to check out by 11am. He had a lot more amenities than we expected. When it came to essentials, we thought towels, sheets, and soap were it. He actually had more, such as a umbrellas, a lint roller, band aids, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and toothpaste. Upon arrival, we picked up our key in his designated spot. We actually had the pleasure of meeting him on our way out and he was really chill and friendly. Of all the neighborhoods in Tokyo, Meguro was one of our favorites. Our trip was in late March/early April, so we even saw all the cherry blossoms bloom in the neighborhood. His place is only two stops away from Nakameguro where there is an amazing river, which is popular for cherry blossom viewing. All in all, best trip ever!

We didn't ave the pleasure to meet Eddy, but reach his place was really easy following the itinerary he gave us. The apartment was exactly as you can see in the pictures, very clean and comfortable. Special mention goes to the Gakugei Daigaku neighbourhood, a really lovely area to explore, full of restaurants, cafes, shops and markets. From there you can easily reach Shibuya (10 min by train) and Harajuku, making Eddy Apartment a perfect starting point to explore the city..
