This room has its own private patio and is available as either a double bedroom or a twin room with two single beds. The bedroom and patio are in a shared traditional style Barbadian chattel house. Use of a shared bathroom with shower plus a second toilet. Many secluded areas where you can relax while being surrounded by original art. Books, DVDs and board games can be borrowed from the family's collection. The space cannot accommodate children.
Complete kitchen set up for use by guests. With a wide range of restaurants nearby and accessible by bus, most guests opt to dine out. Internet access, laundry facilities and parking are also available.
Interaction with Guests
The host and her husband are nearby in their separate upstairs apartment and can provide help when needed. They are well informed on the local scene and can make suggestions and provide event calenders for day or night activities.
Workingclass Barbadian neighborhood with real community people that will give a sense of how life is on the island. Our street of Dunlow Lane is safe, the house is respected and its guests are appreciated by the local residents. As in all cities we, as hosts, will advise on how to get around and where to avoid to make your trip most pleasurable.
We are 1 km from Bridgetown and the bus terminal . The number 11 bus down the lane will take you all along the south coast past Oistins. Buses cost $2.00 BBD ($1.00 USD).
Make reservations for cars as soon as you know your plans, especially in the high season as they may run out.

Washing machine is operated by the host and a fee of $5.00 USD ($10.00 BBD) for washing and hanging to dry one load.

Absolutely no one other than the Airbnb guests that have checked in are allowed on the premises at all.

Please turn off fans in rooms when not in use especially when leaving the premises.
Barbados is a very water scarce island. Please take a thorough shower but remember to conserve as much as possible and help us to keep costs low .
