Where you’ll be

Ballycotton , Cork, Ireland

There are lots of fantastic facilities available in Ballycotton along with neighbouring villages; Shanagarry, Cloyne and Ballymaloe. Whether you are a history buff or an avid nature fan, or simply want to relax and take in the sights, there is something for you. Relish in a relaxing stroll around Ballymaloe House and Gardens, visit the Cookery School or simply pause for a coffee here.
Come visit the recently restored Mary Stanford Lifeboat, go walk the famous cliff walk and engage in some bird watching. A trip to Ballycotton Lighthouse is a must! This is rated No. 1 on Tripadvisor for your visit to Ballycotton and personally a trip that I never tire of.
Indulge in some retail therapy at the Kilkenny shop and cafe, partake in pottery classes at Stephen Pearse's pottery or simply drop in for a cuppa. Enjoy a superb meal at Ballycotton's finest restaurant; Pier 26. Stop for a pint or a G&T at Ballycotton's warm and welcoming pubs. You are spoiled for choice when it comes to choosing a watering hole, from The Schooner Bar, The Blackbird to Mc Graths and Lynch's. The local church, Star of the Sea, is simply stunning and is definitely worth a visit. Ballynamona beach and Garryvoe beach (blueflag beach) welcome people from all over the county almost on a daily basis. Garryvoe hotel is practically at the water's edge and is a fabulous to have a drink or a bite to eat. Cloyne's round tower is one of Cork's hidden gems and is definitely a must see. As you can see, you are spoilt for choice when it comes to things to do! We look forward to welcoming you to Ballycotton.
