Max and Tracy are great host! A room I stayed was good size, clean and peaceful! I love the place! Thank you Max and Tracy!
This was a great spot for my friend and me. After spending our first two nights on the island staying on a friend's hardwood floor, we were thrilled to walk into the Windward Studio. Plenty of room for two people, with a huge (queen-sized?) bed and a comfortable full-sized futon. The location was definitely cooler, offering a nice escape from the south side of the island where we'd been hanging out. Max was very accommodating, even leaving us fresh fruit. Lots of appliances, too, which I wish we'd taken advantage of. I mean, there's a fruit press to make juice. How awesome is that???
The only reason I didn't give this place five stars is that it's pretty far from the bigger towns on the island where nightlife can be found. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful spot along the Road to Hana, this is the spot. I'd definitely stay here again.
Makai Windward Studio is a very nice place to stay for those who want peaceful place to stay in Maui. Max and Tracy was very friendly and a great host. They gave us some really good recommendation about places in Maui.
