Apartment - Entire home/apt · Dekalb Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11206, United States

Stay in Brooklyn's Historic Clinton Hill/Bed Stuy- Your apartment is on the 2nd level with a private keyed entrance - It's bright, fully equipped, and has A/C. The G-subway is a block away, so a short ride to NYC & all the sites & sounds of the city.

The Space

Stay in the historic Clinton Hill/Bed Stuy neighborhood of Brooklyn. This classic brick home has been newly renovated – so all the benefits of being new, but still the charm of old Brooklyn. Your studio apartment is on the 2nd level of a duplex apartment with a separate apartment entrance. The apartment is very sunny and bright as well as being fully air-conditioned. The apartment is tastefully appointed with a modern/classic touch.

There is a bathroom, eat-in kitchen, and large studio (and 2 closets!). The apartment is perfect for one-person or a couple, and has a queen size bed. We also provide fresh towels and linen. The kitchen large, modern, and bright and is fully appointed (microwave, full size refrigerator, full size stove/oven, dishes/cutlery, toaster oven, and coffee/tea maker). In addition, there is free WIFI and a flat screen TV/cable.

The neighborhood is eclectic, diverse, and vibrant. You are close to shops, bars, restaurants, and major Brooklyn attractions (Fulton Mall, Downtown Brooklyn, Brooklyn Bridge, Pratt Art Institute, Prospect Park, Barclays Center, Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, BAM, DUMBO, Williamsburg, and Brooklyn Art Museum). The studio apartment is also located on major bus-lines and 2 blocks from the G-train with a quick commute to Manhattan or Prospect Park. You are 2 stops from the new Barclays Center in Brooklyn -

The studio-bedroom apartment affords you considerable privacy and comfort on the 2nd floor with your own entrance onto the street – so you don’t have to share a bathroom or coffee pot with a stranger and wait to take a shower. The studio is part of our two-family home and we live in the second apartment, so we are happy to answer any questions and help you get settled in. When you rent the studio, you rent the entire studio apartment and the flat is for your enjoyment. We have incorporated electronic entry locks, therefore there are no keys to exchange, return, or lose.

This is a great apartment and we have hosted many people from all over the world that have stayed with us and loved the apartment.

Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • We had a great (unfortunately too short!) time at Andrew & Markus's apartment. They left a really helpful guide to the neighborhood and some good restaurants - three of which we tried, and were really happy with. The apartment itself was spacious, clean and warm. Getting into Manhattan was easy, as the guys left clear instructions for how to catch the train in. We'd definitely stay there again :)

  • A beautiful (recently) decorated apartment that is spacious, quiet and comfortable - we enjoyed our stay there. This historic area is being redeveloped but the apartment is great value to use as a base to do your exploring.

Close to the subway which makes it quite easy to spend time in Manhattan or visit other areas in Brooklyn - transfers to other lines required but simple when you know them.

Everything else went smoothly .... checkin/checkout, communication and advice.

    Thank you Andrew and Markus.

  • Absolutely recommendable. Great price/performance issue. Neighbourhood is certainly still developing but there is great access to the subway, which gets you into Manhatten or Brooklyn. Enjoy breakfast at Colador Café on Bedford Ave/De Kalb where you can feel the true Brooklyn lifestyle and atmosphere. Mobile shop PCS is just opposite with great service (in case you need prepaid stuff).
Mark&Andrew are great experienced hosts, absolutely not intrusive, helpful in case it was needed. The apartment was clean (and we are Germans :-)) and spacious with nice interiors. You get a full equipped kitchen if need be. But as typical New Yorkers you mostly eat out anyways.

  • Great host and perfect place! We will certainly come back if we visit NYC in the future. All details show Markus and Andrew's thoughtful and warmhearted preparation.
Markus even sat on the stairs waiting for us check in that day for at lest 30 minutes!
    Thank you!

  • Andrew and Markus were great hosts, very helpful and available for questions and advice. The apartment was very clean and as described in the listing, close to public transportation and plenty of parking out front. I would highly recommend staying with Andrew and Markus. I will definitely stay here again when traveling to New York.

  • This place really had everything you could ask for. The apartment was large, tidy and tastefully decorated. You have access to a real kitchen, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom is spacious. The subway to the G-train is only 100m away (~300ft). Last but not least, Marcus and Andrew was very nice and reliable. This place was one of the better I've stayed at in my travels and I highly recommend it to others.

    October 2013

  • I've been there for a week with three friends. It was a great appartment! Very clean and cosy. They have everything you need there. It is 2 blocks away from the subway and also in the evening you do not feel insecure in this area. I HIGHLY recommend this appartment and I will be back!
