We had a truly wonderful stay at Tess' place
The guesthouse is run so professionally and is also very well maintained and beautifully set up. The interior design gives a great ambience and was a lovely welcome to Burkina Faso for us
The room was comfortable and service was wonderful
I would totally recommend this place to anybody who is looking for a relaxing and comfy cozy place to stay in Ouaga!
Chez Tess is the best place you can stay in OUA. The rooms and bathrooms are really spacious and nice, with AC and mosquito nets. breakfast is delicious and the people that work here are extremely nice and are very helpful with anything you need.
They make you feel very comfortable and at home.
This is an oasis in a rather chaotic and hot city like OUA. We stayed here twice in a 10 day trip with my friend Diego through Burkina Faso and never found a place that even came close to the comfort of Chez Tess. strongly recommended and a big thank you to Tess and all her staff for a such a pleasant stay.
We were so lucky to have found this oasis in an otherwise chaotic city, I can easily say with no hesitation to anyone thinking of going to Ouaga to NOT stay in a hotel but here. The area is safer and more relaxed then where the hotels are situated. There are other people living and residing in Tess's complex that were very eager to help and give information. The staff were very kind and the description of what was advertised was accurate. We were very lucky that Tess's staff found us a guide Congo Boukari, who made our stay in Burkina an absolute delight. Anyone going there should get a guide to get a better understanding of this very interesting country. Enjoy!
A perfect place to spend my first two days in Africa. I didn't meet Tess, as she was visiting her elderly mother, but her staff were helpful and friendly.
The bed is comfortable, with a mosquito net, the shower hot and breakfast in the garden DELICIOUS. I've taken photos I want to send to Tess. She needs to show people more of her special place!
It is a fantastic place, everyone is nice and all can be organised :) meals, laundry, taxi etc. Very helpful and friendly, i felt nearly at home. the location is close to the international school and university in the quarter Zogona, which is 10 min by taxi to city center.
