Our lovely country house is quiet, warm and clean. Prices are per are welcome to use our garden and patio.
There are bus and train links to Kilkenny, Waterford and Dublin and we are only one mile from the village of Thomastown. The bus stops right outside the house.
The property is newly, tastefully decorated. We have threes bedrooms. One room has a king sized bed and private ensuite bathroom. The other two rooms have double beds and one shared bathroom. We live onsite but you can be totally independent if you wish. We are here to attend to your needs but will stay out of your way if you prefer. Fabulous views of Grennan Castle, The River Nore and out over the valley. Our house is an old house but renovated in a very modern style. It is a bungalow so there are no steps to negotiate.
We are located 30 minutes from Waterford, 60 minutes from Dublin, 90 minutes from Rosslare and 50 minutes from the nearest beaches at Tramore, Dunmore East and Duncannon.
Guests can expect a warm welcome while we will respect your privacy.
We are just a mile from the beautiful little town of Thomastown which is steeped in history. We are 10 miles from the beautiful Kilkenny City and Kilkenny Castle and only 4 miles from Inistoige and Woodstock Gardens which was the setting for the film "Circle of Friends." A couple of miles in the opposite direction is Kilfane Waterfall and garden.
We are surrounded by breathtaking scenery with lovely walks and great places to cycle. The famous Mount Juliet golf course is just 4 miles away, while fishing is right on the doorstep. There are two horse riding stables within a 15 minute drive. Jerpoint Abbey is 5 minutes away and if you are interested in history and architecture you can visit Newtown in Jerpoint which has been given the name "The Irish Pompeii".
Buses to Kilkenny stop right outside our door! There is also a rail link to Kilkenny and Waterford.
Guests have access to the kitchen and have their own private sitting room. You are also welcome to use the garden and patio area.
Interaction with guests
I like to give my guests a warm welcome and help them to feel at home. I work full-time but I am always home in the evening if you need anything. You can have your own entrance and be completely independent.
The neighbourhood is quiet, scenic and safe.
There is a regular bus and train service to and from Thomastown

Guest check in is between 3pm and 7pm. We may be able to accommodate alternative check in times by agreement.
Please keep noise to a minimum at night
