We stayed four nights in this large well outfitted, clean country home. We didn't have a car, but there are frequent and swift buses to Zaragoza. Paloma, Estaban's Mother, is the person we dealt with. She gave us a quick drive around town to show us stores, where to catch the bus, where to go for bird watching and so forth.
She doesn't speak English, but Carolyn does somewhat so that was no problem. I suspect she could handle pleasantly non Spanish speaking persons. We recommend this accommodation as a great change from Spanish cities, great as they are.
Very nice and peaceful stay. Excellent value for two couples or a family! Nice quite town just outside of Zaragoza. The host was very accommodating and the fridge had lots of food in it for breakfast. Definitely would be great in the summer! The patio out the back featured in the photo was really nice.
We were met and welcomed by Paloma (Esteban’s mother) who gave us all the necessary information we needed for our short stay in Zaragoza. We don’t understand Spainish but, Paloma had a great way of communicating with us to ensure we understood her instructions. The apartment is located in an old farmhouse. It is clean, tidy and warm and has all you need to make your stay more comfortable including lots of breakfast items. The location is a short drive from the city and is a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle.
This place was amazing. Very spacious and warm. Just outside of the city which was a nice change of pace for us. Everything was very clean, neat, and organized. The host provided us with very useful information about eating, drinking, and site seeing. I would love to return because it's a very peaceful home nestled on the outskirts of Zaragoza.
Me and 3 of my friends stayed at Esteban's house while on a road trip around Spain. The house is on the outskirts of the city but it is very near to the bus stop and there are frequent buses to the city center. We were received by Paloma(Esteban's mom). She is a very nice host and very helpful. The house is very neat and has almost everything you would need. Also, there was food in the fridge for breakfast. There was also a list of things to do and see in the city. I thought it was very helpful. I wish we had stayed a little longer. I would highly recommend staying at Esteban's house.
The reservation was canceled 2 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We are an older couple and we wanted to visit Saragossa for 2 days. We spent 3 nights at Esteban's place and travelled into the city each day by bus. It was a wonderful experience. We had read the very positive comments of other guests, and we are happy to agree with everything they said.
A really Nice place, big and calm ! A little far from the city but perfect by car and seems well desserved by bus but we havent try ! If i go back to zaragosa i Will try to stay There again :)
A ground floor basic 3 bedroom apartment on the edge of a village. It was equipped for making simple meals, the wifi was ok, our SatNav found it. We enjoyed the provisions left for breakfast - that was helpful given the small supermarket nearby wasn't open. The linen and towels were clean. It was quiet with only walkers and cyclists passing by on the GR99 route. Lots of hot water. The double bed was small/short - if you're taller than 5'6" then your feet will hang off the end. Even with doors and windows closed, the mozzies still found their way inside so you'll want some bug spray. Intros were by Esteban's mum in Spanish/English/French and the neighbour upstairs helped out with English translations when needed. The kids enjoyed seeing the old falling to pieces farm buildings and kicking about in the dirt. Zaragoza is an easy drive and the old part is the highlight.
Total apartment by ouselves...totally adequate. Never met Esteban, but others were very helpful.
