Check episode the AirTV Berlin out to get on even better impression of the apartment (and me)!
This is a sunny and comfortable apartment in Berlin Charlottenburg. Nice 19th century "old house" building on the top floor (it's a bit of a walk-up but it's not that bad...) There's a spacious living room, a smaller bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom. It measures 50 square metres and includes a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, TV, DVDs and all the equipment you need for a pleasant stay. Fresh linen and towels are included. Beautiful wooden floors, southern exposure and very quiet. Perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing =)
1 Queen size bed that sleeps 2, 1 big couch that sleeps 2 1/2 people.
Wireless Internet (byo laptop) - WORKS FLAWLESSlY NOW, fixed it! (My 2nd review said there were problems with the connection, algood now).
LOCATION: 5 min walk to subway, extremely delicious restaurants and cute cafés right in front of your door, safe and beautiful neighborhood lined with typical Berlin 19th century buildings. 10-minute train ride to main station, shopping centre and grocery store are right around the corner. Within walking distance to the trade fair grounds ICC, if you're here for a business trip!

Jennifer's Apartment is cozy nice and clean. I had a good time and appreciated her friendliness when picking up the keys
Brilliant stay in Berlin! It was my first time and I was traveling alone for work. Jenny's place was the perfect base. Her apartment is so lovely (but it's true you don't want to be too big if you're to fit into the bathroom!) Although Jenny couldn't meet me in person, she had everything organised in advance. I would recommend a stay here to anyone who is planning to visit Berlin!
We stayed here for the last two nights of our vacation. Jennifer was an excellent host and we loved the apartment. It is located in a beautiful area with lots of good restaurants and close to transportation. Jennifer made us feel very welcome and comfortable.
What can I say about Jenny? Her place is very comfy - lots of light on AN AMAZING street that's lined with cafés and restaurants. 5 mins to the train and you're off to one of the many destinations that Jenny can recommend.
Communication was wonderful - and for the nights when I didn't want to go out, there were plenty of movies to choose from to veg out on the couch.
We were arriving in Berlin in the morning after a very long flight and had to leave in the evening of the next day. We warned Jennifer and she let us stay until evening - a life saver. She was very responsive and easy to communicate with. She met us at the bus station to show us the apartment. Very nice and friendly.
The apartment is wonderful. Light, clean and pleasant, in a nice neighborhood and a few blocks from the s-bahn line. We had a great stay in Berlin.
Jen was a great host, Everything was in order and such a great location!! Was a perfect stay Highly suggest staying at her place!!!
Very pleasant stay at Jenny's place for the three of us during two days.
Excellent location: public transportation within minute's walk, lovely restaurants just down the road and all kinds of shops which one needs for catering during a short visit.
Lovely little appartment which must have been going through the hands of an expert interior designer, especially the bathroom. Extremely quiet (except for the birds chirping away in the tree just outside the windows) as the appartment is in the located in the backyard of the block.
Only downside: 4 floors upstairs and no elevator. Travel light!
Jennifer patiently explained bus directions when we got a little confused, met us at the bus stop, and walked us to her cheerful, comfortable apartment, which is on a tree-lined cobblestone street with cafes, shops, and a convenient little market. The neighborhood is a fine place for walking, and the transit line -- and thus access to all of Berlin -- is only about a five-minute walk away. Jennifer was a gracious and enthusiastic host with a casual and welcoming demeanor, and we felt very relaxed in her place. Internet worked perfectly, washing machine was nice to have, and one night we just picked up a pizza, came home, and watched a
DVD. It was so nice to have had that easy sense of a home base when we needed it. There are several flights of stairs to climb, but it's worth it...very quiet, other than the sound of birds from the courtyard below. By the way, we are not cool, young people -- Jennifer is the age of our daughter -- but she was kind, hospitable, and friendly, and her exuberance is contagious.
Nice place, Jennifer was a very nice host. If you are a big person I wouldn't recommend this place as the bathroom is "extra cozy" :-)
Jennifer was incredibly sweet and made us feel very welcome from the beginning. Her apartment is truly cozy and makes one wish they lived in Berlin in such a nice place! The location is very close to nice restaurants, both the S- and U- Bahns, and several nice bars. I would recommend renting Jennifer's apartment to anyone visiting Berlin!
