My stay at this Dolores Park Victorian was about as good as one could ask for! Lorenzo's manager was extremely helpful and always there to clean after guests come and go. The location of this place is smack in the middle between the Castro and the mission where there's literally something for everyone! Once again, I was very pleased with my stay and would definitely stay there in the future.
Loved the backyard and the kitchen! The flat is ideally located: close to everything and mostly to Dolores Park with a muni station to be in downtown in 10 mins!
This is a nice place to stay, it is in a great location, and its a very cute and larger sized studio apartment. Checking in was easy. Lorenzo was prompt to answer all of my questions via texting.
The only downsides were the refrigerator/stove needed to be cleaned a little bit more along with the toilet, other than that the place was clean and neat and tidy. The kitchen could use a few more pots and pans. The neighbors upstairs and outside traffic were a bit loud at times but that's to be expected. The wifi does work but its a slow connection. I felt safe and comfortable during my stay there and there is a washer/dryer just upstairs. I would definitely stay there again.
Great space with lots of privacy in a GREAT location! I loved the classic, Victorian style look of the apartments-- it made me feel like I was really getting the San Francisco experience. Lorenzo and Zara were especially accommodating and often went out of their way to ensure comfort and convenience. My daughter was renting the upper-level space a week before I arrived and she had an equally delightful experience with her partner. I loved the kitchen that enabled us to feel more at home with home-cooked meals and hot tea. There was also a back patio and small yard which was available to us for use. The space is less than a block away from public transit, Dolores Park, the Mission, and just a couple blocks away from hustle and bustle if you seek it. I would highly recommend this experience!
Conveniently located next to Dolores Park. Very accommodating with regards to scheduling, check in and check out times.
Fantastic location. Zara met us to give us keys and was very friendly and helpful. Spacious apartment that worked well for 4 adults.
Great location, though the place was very basic. Would like to see the kitchen supplied with more items (plates, cups, silverware). No tv in the place or couch.
Ho pernottato 3 notti presso questo appartamento. Esperienza positiva, appartamento essenziale e funzionale. Wi fi buono il primo giorno ma un pò debole nei giorni successivi. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo!
The host seemed nice, but unfortunately we did not find this to be a comfortable place to stay. The furnishings were extremely basic. There was a living area but no furniture in it except a small table. The bed linens and pillows seemed old and worn, and we found the mattress miserably uncomfortable. The kitchen appeared to be a plus until we realized that we couldn't use it because there were no dishes, pans, or utensils--just a few pieces of cutlery in a drawer. I looked for a water glass and found only an old, half-empty juice bottle in a cupboard. It is a shame because the space itself is quite nice and the location is excellent, but the hosts really need to put a lot more thought and effort into this space before it is suitable for visitors.
Zara was a very nice host. We had good immunization and she met us timely during the week for check-in. The apartment is a nice little place. The bed was comfy. We forgot to bring a hair dryer so Zara allowed us tomorrow hers. The location is awesome!! We were right next to Dolores park. we would definitely stay again in the perfectly sunny Dolores Park/Castro location.
