My husband, daughter and I stayed here for two nights. It was all we needed. The directions were very good, please was easy to find, beds were very comfortable, and everything worked perfectly. The host was very friendly and helpful to us. We would stay here again.
Jen was a good communicator and responded to any questions quickly. The neighborhood is lovely with some really amazing homes. Seton Hall main entrance is right across the street and downtown is just a 5 minute ride. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I'm 6'4" and needed to duck a little coming out of the bathroom to avoid hitting my head on a pipe but we would come back. We had an issue where our stay coincided with some renovation work being performed in the entrance hallway resulting in some fumes that were unpleasant. Jen reimbursed us for the inconvenience so I don't feel the need to lower the overall experience rating to lower than 4 stars as everything else was fine.
We have enjoyed our 10 days stay in this apartment, which is as described, very convenient, cosy and spacy, located in a charming Victorian district especially at spring when trees are blossoming.
20 minutes walk to the train station and the shops and restaurants, 20 minutes drive to interesting hiking wild areas so close to New York (the great swamp national wildlife refuge, the south montain reservation), 1H30 to Philadelphia, a couple of hours to Atlantic city and the Jersey shore... In short, a strategic place to enjoy the best of New Jersey.
We just regret that we did not have the opportunity to spend more time with Jennifer and Jerry, which have been very welcoming and attentive (lights and nice music on at our arrival).
Terrific place and Jennifer was super helpful and accommodating. My daughter and wife stayed here while touring Seton Hall. Look forward to staying again.
