We've recently refurnished this property to ensure our guests have the most comfortable visit possible. This property has a fully functioning kitchen which includes a full-sized refrigerator, electric stove and oven, microwave, toaster, and kettle.

The house is approximately a 5 minute drive outside of the town of Povoação, however the drive up to the house is quite steep, thus making the trip very difficult by foot. Povoação is located on the south-eastern coast of São Miguel island and is approximately 60 km from the airport (PDL). This small, and quiet village is safe, and friendly as well as offering all necessary amenities with a grocery store and wonderful restaurants. Our property also offers visitors easy access (25 minute drive) to the much-visited town of Furnas where you may choose to visit the beautiful Terra Nostra Garden, find a cafe serving freshly baked bolos lêvedos (sweet bread), or relax in the calming hot springs at Poça da Dona Beija.
