We had a lovely stay at Carolyn's. She was very helpful and flexible. We would definitely recommend her place for a short stay in London.
Clean and adequate accommodation. As described. Appreciate the booking with only short notice.
Had a fab time with Carolyn and Steve. Great hosts, the room was fab and close to the station for travelling to work.
Carolyn and Steve were great hosts, very welcoming and attentive. The room was very spacious and had everything you would need for your stay. I would throughly recommend staying here and hopefully they would have us back.
Carolyn and Steve made me feel most welcome. The room is fabulous to come home to after a day at work, with just a short walk to the station. Great routes to both Wimbledon and London and down to Southampton. As I have just moved down to this end of the country, I have stayed with Carolyn and Steve for three weeks whilst I both worked and tried to find a more permanent home. From day one I was made to feel welcome and this made my decision to move down here so much easier.
Carolyn was welcoming when we arrived, but did announce she wouldn't be getting up to make breakfast.
The neighborhood was quiet but still within walking distance of the station as as advertised.
The room was comfortable - no private bathroom though.
There was no breakfast to help ourselves to, no milk and no bread. There was one box of cereals.
I thought it had been agreed with your guests that they could help themselves to breakfast or I would help them which I would have done if they hadn't left an hour before they said they would. My husband is addicted to cereal so we have a selection of at least 6, not 1 as has been written in the review. As for there being no milk and bread, it's simply not true.
Charles wasn't even the guest here, it was his colleagues, thus the reason I didn't write a review as I never met you. I won't make the mistake of allowing guests on behalf of someone.
