WELCOME IN CAPS ! Will did a terrific job of welcoming us, providing a warm and effective place to stay as well as all the positives you can imagine for local, information and centrally located facilities. The little things made the stay well worth our time and money: very close to Metro and bus lines. Maps to show local resources and places to see / visit as well as making us feel safe in a big town. If you're traveling near DC, Will's place is on the top of the list or you're missing out. Great chocolate cookies too ! Happy travels. Bob & Debbie
Wow! Will has everything laid out for you, from detailed instructions on getting there, door codes, and things to do while you're in town, to fresh cookies on your arrival and a breakfast bar of cereals, teas, coffees etc. that simply must be experienced. Bravo! We rate him a 12 on a 10 scale! The room was exactly as pictured and described. Will obviously put a lot of effort into getting all the details right. If you're going to visit the Alexandria/DC area this is THE place to stay.
Will's hospitality and the quality of the townhouse always far exceed my (email hidden)rhaps THAT is why this is my fourth time staying here! Everything is clean, quiet and in tip-top shape. Will has become a personal friend and I highly recommend his townhouse to both business travelers like myself or those visiting Old Town or the DC museums and monuments. The Braddock Road station is just a short walk. A++++++
My daughter and I spent a week in the Monet suite and we could not have been happier. We arrived during the March snowstorm for which half the city shut down. When we got to Will’s place, the house was warm, cozy and very clean. Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies were on the kitchen counter and the bathroom was stocked with everything a traveler could need. The room was ample for the two of us, with plenty of storage space for our things. The neighborhood was both quiet and convenient. The guests in the other two rooms were friendly and courteous. We met Will one evening in the middle of our stay. It was like running into an old friend from high school. He is an amazing host, who cares about every guest that stays there and continually tries to improve your stay. Couple all that with low cost to stay (especially during Spring Break when hotel rates were high) and this is an obvious choice. Thanks Will for your part in making this a great trip for us!
I had the most wonderful time at Will's place. Not only did his place provide everything from clean sheets to good cereal but Will himself was a great person to hang out with. He was always looking out for ways to make the place better. Since it was my boyfriend and I's first time in Old Towne, he was very kind to explain all the eateries and must-see places. Will's place was close to King's street which is the main place to be in Old Towne, it was convenient for us to go around. If you are looking for cozy and a quiet vacation, I highly recommend this place. According to my boyfriend, "Just go and see it for yourself!"
I came to Alexandria for a five week pharmacy rotation and needed a location within walking distance of my work. This location was perfect and my stay was stellar. Will is a great host and makes sure you have everything you need. He responds to messages very quickly. The towels and linens are soft and comfy and there is lots of storage space. I wasn't sure how it was going to be sharing a bathroom but it was no problem at all. If you have to stay for awhile like I did, there is plenty of space in the fridge and you can cook if you want. Oh, there are also chocolate chip cookies :) I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a comfortable space that feels more like home at a reasonable price.
If you are visiting DC, or visiting Alexandria or any neighboring town really, this is the place to stay. Will is an amazing host and made me feel like I was in my own home. With fresh cookies or rolls out every day and easy access to the bathroom, rooms, and house it self this is a must stay. Everything was so close to the house that everything is within walking distance. I completely recommend this place.
