Great townhouse with everything you need, centrally located. Nice outdoor space too.
Great home, great location, great host!
This townhouse in Menlo Park was a perfect choice for our family of four. Close to the freeway, we were able to get everywhere we needed--Santana Row, Stanford/downtown Palo Alto and San Francisco. The set-up is great--two bedrooms and an office, a full kitchen with all the appliances. We hosted family and friends for dinners and had plenty of dishes, a roomy dining room table, etc. Can't think of anything we needed and didn't have. Would be great for business travelers too. Only major issue was the lack of hot water in the kitchen and bathroom sinks. If you let the water run for 3+ minutes it would start to get warm. Not great for cooks and kid hand-washing. Owner says she's going to address it. Luckily, there was plenty of hot water in the showers. Overall, I would highly recommend this rental.
We had a very smooth and comfortable stay at Robin's house. Robin herself is a friendly, kind, caring and discreet host. Communicating with her was very easy, direct and efficient.
We arrived at her home late after a long flight from London and she was there to welcome us and show us around. The house is well equipped, family friendly, spacious with ample storage, nice layout and patio and has everything you need. The cupboards and fridge were filled not with just the basic cooking ingredients but with plenty of fresh and packed food supplies and a nice bottle of wine. What a lovely touch! For us it meant we could recover from our travel and focus to our tasks without planning trips to the grocery store for the first few days.
We found the location extremely convenient especially for its proximity to two beautiful playgrounds and great access to downtown Palo Alto, Menlo and Stanford.
Wonderful experience, highly recommended host! Thank you Robin:)
After having moved at least every 3 years as a Navy brat and living in California, Fairfax County Virginia and Newport, Rhode Island and gone to college at UC Davis, I have settled in the bay area. I am an Actuarial Consultant for KPMG LLP.
I happily lived in my townhouse for 6 years. In September 2013, I moved to a single family house in Redwood City, 1 town north of Menlo Park, where my townhouse rental is located.
You'll find the neighbors in the townhouse complex very friendly and helpful.
When I'm not working, I enjoy gardening, running, and bicycling. Let me know if you'd like some tips on great trails to hike/run or routes to bike in the area.
