A spacious double bedroom simply furnished with antique brass european king size bed, en suite bathroom totally tucked away in the coach house with only the sound of the mill race to disturb you, but adjacent to the main house and the other cottages where we live now and where a light breakfast is served and where you are welcome to join us if and when you want.

We have stables and can offer livery as an extra, dogs are also welcome to join the current motley crew.

Tara and the Newton House were in a word: perfect! The mill property is stunning and well maintained. It's quiet and secluded, but close enough to town for the basics. Tara communicated quickly throughout the week and through checkout. Her pups added that extra special treat that put our experience over the top. The room is updated, clean, and comfortable. We regret that we couldn't stay longer! Do not visit Ireland without staying at the Newton House!

Jamie and I love Tara, her pals, her dogs, her estate, and the room. The place is beautiful with a rich history. She is the most wonderful host. Very kind hearted and giving. We all stayed up late drinking wine and having great conversations. Hope to see her again. Kyle and Jamie

Tara is wonderful on every level and so is her home, the grounds, the wonderful doggies and just the overall experience. This is one of the finest places we have ever stayed in and we feel now we have a new Irish friend! thank you Tara.

I love Airbnb for just this kind of opportunity. It is an amazing property in a slightly out of the location but so special. Tara is a lovely, helpful, friendly host. I love the nearby village of Durrow but the setting of the Bnb is spectacular.

We enjoyed our one night stay. Only regrets were that we didn't get to see the mill in the daylight! Scones and tea in the kitchenette when we arrived. We had a nice dinner at the Castle Durrow as well. Hosts were good at communicating with us in advance. Directions were good--arrived at night.

Tara was a fantastic host. She made us feel very welcome as did her lovely son. We would highly recommend Tara and her home. Our little dog was even welcome. Will definitely stay again.

I moved here with my husband Anthony in 2008 after we had spent quite a lot of time travelling for his career in sailing Stars, and now live here with our children, dogs and horses working from home and have been restoring the mill and outbuildings , - I live in the main house and offer any guest as much privacy as they would like - but also like to welcome guests as family.

We both have a great interest in cooking & food, have a thriving vegetable garden and aim to provide most of our vegetables from it; we love sports in general, rugby sailing polo and hunting in particular, and would be described as people people !!
