It's a two days business trip of Ypsilanti.
Ken and Mariel are so kind and considerable. I am feeling so great to stay here for last two days. Just as described, almost all stuff is organic.
The community is quiet and peaceful. Ken cooked very well and we have two enjoyable breakfast together. Mariel was so nice and gave me lot of suggestions for local traveling. Will choose here again next time.
Stayed here for my son's graduation from U of Michigan. Beautiful home, neighborhood, and accommodations. Clean, Green, and Peaceful. I especially appreciated the fragrance free aspect. The hosts were personable, informative, and helpful about the surrounding community (they went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable). The celebratory weekend breakfast was delicious (we could taste the love). This stay was heaven sent, and Mariel and Ken are glorious hosts : )
Wonderful stay near Ann Arbor. Upon arrival, we were given a tour of the house. We were shown to our room which was beautifully decorated. The queen size bed was very comfortable. Breakfast each morning was very well prepared. Mariel’s direction as to what to see and eat was right on the mark and we were never steered wrong.
Ken and Mariel provided a warm welcome to their lovely home. This was my second stay and my 5 star rating remains. The room and bathroom they provide are exceedingly comfortable, clean and well and thoughtfully appointed.
Mariel & Ken welcomed us into their home from the moment we got out of our car! Their welcoming sign was on the door, and a space for our rental car cleared in their driveway. We arrived a bit early, but Mariel & Ken didn't miss a beat! They dropped what they were doing to give us a tour of their home. They welcomed our family in, my husband and myself as well as our 9.5 month old son, for a very comfortable stay. It was almost like we were staying with a distant relative! Ken made us a delicious breakfast one morning, and Mariel packed a to-go bag for our early departure the next. We were able to come and go as we pleased, allowing our family to get to various wedding events [the reason for our visit] as well as driving into Ann Arbor for a museum visit and prized dinner. Their home is quite welcoming, very clean, and has everything you could need for a stay! Thankful we choose to try airbnb, as it worked well for our family!
My dad and I stayed at Ken and Mariel's for the Penn State-Michigan football game. Ken was out of town for the weekend, but Mariel hosted us in their lovely home. She greeted us upon our arrival Friday evening and made us a wonderful breakfast before we departed for Ann Arbor the following morning. She provided helpful tidbits about the town and made us feel completely at home. We hope to visit again soon!
I was warmly greeted by Mariel. Their home is lovely and the accommodations beyond comfortable, with many thoughtful provisions and helpful information. Much closer to a really nice Bed andBreakfast than the airbnbs we have experienced in the past. The neighborhood is very safe and easy to get to. One should have no hesitation in staying with Ken and Mariel.
