  • We stayed for two nights and felt sorry to leave the friendly family and their lovely dogs. We can absolutely recommend the place.

  • We spent one night in Selena's farm with our 5 years old son and really enjoyed it. It was great for him to see donkeys, ducks, pigs, horses, chickens, cats, dogs etc.
Selena and her husband are very interesting people who shared their stories with us and I think that's where the main difference is with a B&B. It's not a business for them, it's an extra.
We had a very nice breakfast with fresh eggs from their farm too. This first experience with airbnb couldn't have been better. Selena's farm is close to a nice village Redcross where there are pubs, takeaway, shops so everything you need basically. I will highly recommend Selena's farm for cyclists as it's a perfect spot to cycle. They are very nice, know well the area so will tell you where to go if you want to explore the region. Curiously, the animals where not noisy overnight and we slept very well :)
We just want to go again. It's an amazing break close to Dublin for people who want to have a break from the busy city.

  • Selena's place was wonderful. Her family warmly welcomed us, showing us to our room and directing us to a fantastic view of the surrounding countryside. It was great being able to wander around the grounds and also nice being able to get to know Selena and Alex over breakfast. We hope to go back soon.

  • What a paradise, we really enjoyned our stay. Selena, Alex and the kids are very loving people. We thought, we know them for a long time. Despite sheep shearing they had enough time for talking with us. All was perfect, the guestroom, bath and the wonderful breakfast.
We hope to come back to this nice place.

  • We only stayed there for a night and we wish we could stayed longer. The room was very beautiful, tidy and cozy. There was tea, coffee, water, hot water maker, even two truffles and a jar of peanuts in the room. We went for a walk in the morning to her farm (right in the back of the house). The view is to die for, mountains, fields and the ocean. There were chickens, pigs, horses, sheep and two funny dunkey :) in the farm. We loved our experience in Selena's house.

  • Our stay here was truly lovely. The spacious room is very tasteful and peaceful. The whole family was really hospitable, kind and flexible, which made it really comfortable to stay with them. We understood that their guest usually come with own transport, but we where traveling with public transport. From Dublin city centre it only took us one hour by bus nr. 2 to the Ballincor stop, were we where picked up on arrival and dropped of again for departure (by car only a 5 minute ride). The farm was lovely to walk around and we where served fresh duck-eggs very morning for breakfast! It took us 30 minutes to walk to the little settlement Red Cross, were there where two pubs and one little grocery shop.

  • To stay in Selena's farm was a great experience. They are a nice and kind family that gave us a really warm welcome. Since the first moment we felt at home, having tea with them and sharing a bit of our stories.
The room for the guests was surprisingly good, as from the pictures we couldn't really see how good it was.
Really clean, tidy and with many detail for the guests. Touristic books, printed direction to get some places, tea, fruit, water... With also a really clean private bathroom.
To interact with the super-happy dogs was great, as to walk around the farm and see the pigs, lambs, horses...
We only stayed one night as our plan was to walk through the Wicklow mountains next day, but we would have stayed longer if we could. We totally recommend it. Thanks a lot to Selena and her family!

  • We sincerely enjoyed our stay at Selena's and Alex's farm for two nights on our way to Dublin. After a few minutes with the family it was apparent that none of them had ever met a stranger, and we felt at home right away. The farm is located in a beautiful serine area of County Wicklow near both Avoca and Glendalough. We would highly recommend!

  • Spring farm sheep farm was a dream come true. My husband and I would have stayed all week if we could. Selena and Alex were the perfect hosts. Friendly, willing to let you do your own thing, and also willing to sit down to dinner with you and talk about life in Ireland. They are lovely people who really believe in hospitality to travellers. We knew nothing about the area when we came, but Selena recommended Glendalough park (which stunned us with its beauty). We stayed with 4 different airbnb hosts on our trip to Europe, and this place was our favorite.

  • Selena, Alex, and family were awesome! They made us feel very welcome and comfortable from the minute we arrived. Their farm is absolutely stunning. We had so much fun chatting and getting a taste of their lives over dinner and drinks. Wish we could have stayed longer! If you are planning to visit Dublin or surrounding areas, this stop is a MUST!!
