We enjoyed four nights at Sarah's "Colonial Cottage" in Salt Lake City when we stayed there with our family in preparation for our son's wedding. The house was beautifully decorated with four very large and comfortable bedrooms. Fresh flowers greeted us upon our arrival. The house is located in the Mill Creek section of SLC, and was convenient to downtown. The street that the Cottage is on was very quiet, with friendly neighbors. The kitchen is fully equipped, and we enjoyed preparing a nice meal with groceries purchased nearby in Harmon's Brickyard...a great grocery store around the corner. SLC is an easily navigable city with many charming neighborhoods. We'd recommend this Colonial Cottage!
The host canceled this reservation 8 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
The house was a great value. It's definitely a bit old and feels it (e.g., there are some cracks in the walls). The master bedroom is on the ground floor along with a living room, dining room, and kitchen; the 3 remaining bedrooms are in the basement. I'd also say the photos make the common areas look bigger than they actually are (though I think that's common!)
Overall, the house was perfect for us, it was very conveniently located, and we had a great time. I'd definitely stay there again!
The house was perfect for our month long ski trip . Sarah was quick to respond to every question we had. The place is just as described and we enjoyed our (website hidden) complains at all.Would recommend to everybody that plans on skiing both park city resorts and the cottonwoods canyons restort
Very nice neighborhood, quiet and surrounded by nice homes. Cute house, plenty of space and the hostess was very responsive!
Sarah's cottage is fabulous! The main bed room is huge and gorgeous, and the second bedroom is also spacious. It also has two more bedrooms and two restrooms and all kinks of utilities we need. It'll be especially ideal for a large group of people who want to stay in Salt Lake City or travel to Yellow Stone.
Excellent property, exactly as advertised. We had good time in the house. The location is excellent. The building very secure. easy parking. A+
