The walkout lower level guest suite of our home will be yours to enjoy valley views and nature on a 22 acre field and wooded property that backs up to Big Spring State Park. Relax and read or play disc golf on our 9 basket course, play foosball or arcade basketball inside, roast marshmallows at the fire pit, grill, stargaze, hike in the woods, play horseshoes or picnic at the pavilion by the pond. Only 15 minutes off the turnpike at Willow Hill exit Route 75. Watch out for the Amish buggies!

The space
The property is located at the end of Burns Valley on a hill just over the Perry County line in the tip of Franklin County. The view of the valley and surrounding mountains are beautiful and always changing with the seasons. Medicinal herbs, vegetables and fruit are growing in the gardens. Guests have found the property wonderful to enjoy with family and friends. Star gazing, hiking, and picnicking and more is available here and in the nearby state forests and game lands. Come and enjoy!

Guest access
Full use of the lower level suite of the house with private entrance. There are 2 bedrooms (5 beds), 2 full baths, washer, dryer, fully stocked kitchen, wood stove, great room with a futon that can be used as another sleeping location, chairs, foosball, arcade basketball, games, puzzles, discs (frisbees) and books. A limited supply of wood is provided for the stove and outdoor fire pit. Wifi internet access is available and the password will be provided on arrival. There is seating for 15 at the open kitchen counter along with the two bar top tables. Outdoor chairs are provided to enjoy the scenery, fire pit and stars. Stroll around the property playing the 9 basket disc golf course. Discs (frisbees) are provided on the entertainment stand. We do have some personal items in the freezer section of the refrigerator. If the pavilion area with 8 picnic tables is not reserved, feel free to play horseshoes or picnic there. The gardens and orchard produce is for our personal use only. If you need anything or have any questions feel free to ask.

Other things to note
There is plenty of our land to explore and in the nearby state forests and game lands. Our neighbors appreciate their privacy so no trespassing on their land. Please review the boundaries when venturing out into the woods. Please note we are pet friendly and do welcome your pets to the property during your stay. We have friendly dogs (who will bark on your arrival) and a cat who live upstairs. We do not offer reservations for the suite after Thanksgiving through March 15 due to using the wood stove in the lower level suite to heat the whole house. We will open it on occasion for those needing a local place to stay. To contact us pick an open/available date and send a request/message.
