It's a leafy neighbourhood with a mix of families and retirees, located in close proximity to the busy tourist areas. There are lots of interesting and picturesque walks along the beaches and around the headlands, many surfing spots to choose from. Attractions such a Underwater world are popular and a visit to the Mooloolaba River for fresh seafood straight from the trawlers is a must. Then of course there's the hinterland with its beautiful scenery and quaint country towns.
The golf course and SC University are nearby.
Most visitors will use a car as it is 3-4kms from the house to the beaches and shops. However there is a regular Sunbus service (use the Translink website journey planner) and the Golf Links Rd Stop is nearby.
Other Things to Note
There are fans in all bedrooms but the house is elevated, shaded on the West, catches the sea breeze, so generally stays comfortably cool.
Sorry non-smokers only. Please keep the place tidy and clean - brooms, vac, mops and cleaning aids are all provided. The house is in a family neighbourhood so keep noise down to a reasonable level - zero verandah noise after 11 pm please.
Please hang beach towels etc on the drying racks or clothesline provided.
On departure please leave the bathroom and kitchen in a clean & tidy condition
Thank you and enjoy your stay.
Williams House is just perfect for a relaxed, comfortable stay! We felt at home from the first moment we stepped into it. So kind to welcome us with good bread, butter, milk and fruits! There is also a lot of basics for cooking (e.g. spices, oil etc.) The house offers plenty room and has a lot of equipment which makes you feel at home. Especially the kitchen was in a good condition! We enjoyed having breakfast on the veranda very much. The area is very quiet but a good location at the same time.
Yogurt in the fridge and fresh fruit a real treat. Beautiful home great facilities and atmosphere. Loved it .
We stayed here to await the arrival of our daughter. It was great, everything we needed and some. Handy to all parts of the coast and close to the Sunshine Coast Private Hospital. William was wonderful to us. Plenty of birds for the kids in the mornings.
What a lovely house in a picturesque setting. Very quiet leafy street. The house had everything we needed to accommodate our 4 children. Well equipped kitchen to cook up a storm. William responded quickly and made sure we were happy and settled. Very easy to deal with. Thanks great hosts.
Lovely place, good location, good access to Buderim, Beaches and sunshine motorway.
Quiet, secure and well resourced.
Great Value and the owner is very helpful.
Everything was fine and we had a very good holiday. The house is located in a fairly quiet side street off the Mooloolaba road, but it only takes 10 minutes in a car to get to one of the many beaches nearby. The house was clean and in order when we arrived and we particularly enjoyed the deck and the hammock. William was available by mail to answer any question. Thanks again William.
