Peaceful, tree-lined neighborhood, comfy post-war era home built in the mid-40's. Close to everything: downtown, Univ of Texas, Central Market, charming Kerbey Lane neighborhood shops/restaurants/bakery, parks, coffeehouses, medical district, etc
*** [ SXSW: PLZ CK OUR CALENDAR FOR NEW LOWERED SXSW PRICING & AVAILABILITY ] *** NOTE: You get our **whole house**, not a guest room, guest cottage, studio, efficiency apartment w/ kitchenette, etc, like so many (most?) other Austin listings. We currently have our house listed at $30/night less than what airbnb recommends for our place - great deal! :-)
We are centrally located & the home is on the Shoal Creek greenbelt + hike & bike trail, which runs all the way to Colorado River/Town Lake downtown. We are also very close to 2 of Austin's most spectacular vistas: Mt. Bonnell & Laguna Gloria. If you prefer not to hit these sites between your Austin excursions, you can relax on our private front porch &/or back deck.
Our place is available to you most weekends - check calendar for availability; come see your peeps in Austin!
Great place centrally located on a quite street. House was very clean and comfortable. The host (Kyle) was very accommodating on scheduling the reservation and was easy to reach for any questions. Place is child friendly so recommend this to any families visiting. Would stay here again.
I loved Kyle's home. It was just as charming as the rest of Austin. Quiet, cozy and relaxing after sight seeing in town. The neighborhood is quiet, and there is a stream right down the street. It's also walking distance to shops and restaurants. Couldn't ask for more. :)
A beautiful home, it was wonderful to stay here! Everything was perfect: plenty of space, a lovely back garden & front porch, clean, cozy, nice wood floors, a true home away from home. I would happily stay here again & recommend it to friends. Kyle always answered questions quickly but really we didn't need to ask much since everything was taken care of.
Great place to stay! Good location (within 2-3 miles of campus and downtown) in a peaceful, safe neighborhood and good restaurants just a couple of blocks away. No problems with parking. The house was very clean and comfortable and a perfect place to relax. The host was easy to contact by phone and email and very friendly and helpful. He even left some great pesto for us to eat! I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the Austin area.
