Our experience was so wonderful I don't know where to start. Of course we were excited from the moment we found the listing for Dario's organic farm so we weren't deterred by its rural nature, the long bus ride to get there or experience we expected. We experienced a great day wondering the streets, museum, church, municipal palace and surround in San Pedro Sula the day before catching morning school type bus to Sulaco Yoro. Dario is so proud of his organic farm and what he is accomplishing. Growing banana, coconut, mango, yucca, coffee, avocado and more. We helped build a new addition to his rooms. The meals were awesome. If you can get away from your 5 star go here. We loved it and Dario. He wants to share his vision.

I had the most wonderful, relaxing time on Dario's farm in the beautiful mountains of central Honduras. The people are so friendly and the food is delicious. It's the perfect hideaway. Dario and his lovely family are so warm and inviting. I didn't want to leave.

This was one of our more rewarding experiences in honduras. Dario and his family welcome you with open arms, and you feel like you have known them forever. Dario speaks good english, so even without much knowledge in spanish its easy to communicate. The room is spacious and clean with one of the biggest beds i have seen. The priceworthy food they prepare is both delicious, nutricious and healthy, and also to most part made from ecological products from the farm. The area around the house is very pretty, with lots of mountains. And the nearby river that flows in the cave is an amazing spot for a daytrip (which dario and his family gladly would accompany you to). The cave has a warmwater waterfall inside, and the walls are filled with bats. A very interesting and unique swimmingplace. We loved spending time in honduras, and this was our favorite place in our 25days trip.
