The space

Located in a quiet country setting, our house is 15 minutes from Notre Dame. The room includes: outside private entrance, private bedroom, bath, kitchenette, and living room. The sofa in the living room also has a pull out bed.
(Close to South Bend/Mishawaka, Elkhart, Granger and Osceola)

As opposed to a traditional bed and breakfast, where you have your own room and share other living spaces, this is really just a furnished apartment with a stocked kitchen. Because of that, I do not make and serve breakfast to my guests. I do provide: some milk, bottled water, cereal, coffee, etc...For extended stays, guests should plan to buy their own groceries.

Other things to note

If more than 2 guests or if using extra towels, pillows, etc. Please add $10 cleaning fee.

Jill's home was spotless! The living space was cozy and the kitchen had everything you would need. Bed was comfortable and there were extra pillows and blankets. Would definitely recommend and would stay here on a return visit to the South Bend area.

This place was amazing! I wish we'd had more time to enjoy the apartment, but we only stopped there to sleep. It was clean, comfortable, and Jill was a a great host and super communicative. She was very accommodating, especially since we arrived pretty late. Thank you for a great night's rest Jill!

The house is situated away from the road, making this a quiet place stay. The apartment is fully equipped with whatever you want, and the lockbox allows you to get in after hours (I was very late so I appreciate this greatly). I would definitely go out of my way to stay here again.

Jill's place, is wonderful for a quiet, restful visit or for sightseeing locally. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the pleasant, quiet apartment very much. Jill was available and lovely. Her gardening skills are amazing! This was a delightful surprise, since it made our time on the premises such a joy. The apartment is beautifully decorated and furnished. We really enjoyed sitting on the little veranda in the evenings and for breakfast. If both guests need to get up in the night, the double bed is a bit awkwardly positioned, since one side is up against the wall, with a beautiful wooden foot board also blocking exit. Though visible in photos, I didn't think about this particular issue when I was booking. Also, I suggest bring your own drinking water. These last two comments are not issues that would turn me away in the future. I'd definitely go back to Jill's place again if I were in the area!
