I am a retired teacher who has designed our home and several apartments. Following, my husband and I put much thought and effort into gutting and the total redesign our 1850s rental house to suit our discerning guests. Our transitional style has been an evolving approach to this space. The wow factor was very important to us in completing this project. I have always loved scouring flea markets and yard sales, and volunteer at our local ReStore, Habitat for Humanity. When not hosting I enjoy exercising, gardening, our dog, and spending time with our friends and family. Traveling is important to us and Airbnb rentals are our destination lodging! As a host I am friendly, happy to help with directions, recommendations and attractions in the area. Meeting our guests has become a great pleasure to me, but I afford guests their space and privacy.
