Jane is amazing! She's very friendly and hospitable, not to mention incredibly knowledgeable, and her guest room is lovely with plenty of warm covers on the big bed. If she offers dinner, definitely accept! She makes great food and you won't leave hungry! We had a great time with her and would certainly stay here again.
We had a lovely time with Jane at her farmhouse during our tour of Ireland. A great spacious room with en-suite bathroom. Jane and her sweet dogs made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. We took Jane's offer for a home-cooked supper and we we not disappointed. A real treat, accompanied by lovely salads from her garden. Just delicious. She offered great advice for first timers in Ireland, including a hike closeby that we simply loved. Jane and her farmhouse are a must when in this beautiful area!
Our stay at Jane's home was our very first AirBnb visit, and it is hard to imagine that we will find a more gracious and interesting host and a lovelier home experience. Jane's farmhouse is beautifully updated but retains the character of a 19th century rural sanctuary. Her garden is beautiful. Following a wonderful breakfast, Jane suggested we walk in the adjoining fields before leaving for the rest of our trip. We communed with the sheep and felt transported by beautiful views of old stone walls, blackberry vines, hedgerows and mountains. Jane had great advice about wonderful walking in the area. We should have planned at least another night or two for County Wexford.
Jane's farmhouse was amazing! We couldn't have asked for a lovelier spot to stay. Jane is friendly and welcoming and gave us a great recommendation for dinner. Breakfast was great and included some tasty items from her beautiful garden!
Jane was very helpful and gave us a lot of useful information. The farmhouse is a perfect location for hiking and enjoying the surroundings. Quiet and lovely room.
Jane was a friendly host who answered all our questions + provided dinner + travel tips
I like to travel to meet and spend time with people from different places and cultures. I have loved every place that I visited, Asia, North and South America, Africa, Australia and of course I love to discover new and exciting things about my own country of Ireland. I live at the foot of the Blackstairs Mountains in the South East of Ireland, and spend many hours rambling in the hills, and if you are interested I can guide or advise you on trails in the Blackstairs and also further afield in the Wicklow Mountains and in the Comeragh Mountains. I love to cook, especially for family and friends. I grow a lot vegetables and I am always looking for new and interesting ways to prepare the food from the garden.
