We were received by our host Jane, a very relaxed lady. She served us a lovely vegetarian diner with vegs from her own garden (and a bit from the shop
Jane welcomes us at the farmer place and gave us adviese for diner. We only saw here at the breakfast and than we had a nice conversation. Breakfast was good, the room and bathroom en suite are oke.
Jane was an exceptionally friendly & warm host. Her farmhouse is beautiful & she is an excellent cook. The countryside around kiltealy is stunning & there are a number of lovely walking routes to follow. We really enjoyed our stay & would highly recommend her house to other airbnbers
Jane and her friendly dogs made us feel comfortable immediately. Before we arrived, we took Jane up on the offer to add an evening meal for an additional sum, and were treated to a fresh, hot, home-cooked vegetarian/gluten-free meal of the exact sort we would make for ourselves at home: clean, fresh, flavorful. A perfect ending to a day of driving and touring in the rain. Over dinner conversation, we talked about our shared interests in gardening, animals, politics, and yoga. She had recently replaced the roof and done some lovely landscaping which exceeded our original expectations of the farmhouse. She provided an extensive collection of DVDs and books for us, as well. Although we moved on the next day, Enniscorthy would be a great location to explore the southeast of the country. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Debbie and I had a lovely visit with Jane in her for wonderfully restored farm house. Though we arrived later than expected Jane and four legged family members greeted us warmly and made us feel as though we were more like family than guests. The room and ensuite were fantastic, bed very comfortable very warm and cozy and the location very peaceful. We shared a nice breakfast that included delicious Wexford strawberries along with lively conversation and great travel suggestions. We were very pleased with our overnight stay and look forward to returning when we have time to explore more of Jane's beautiful corner of Ireland.
Wir haben uns bei Jane und in ihrem wunderschönen Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gegend ist traumhaft.
Jane is amazing! She's very friendly and hospitable, not to mention incredibly knowledgeable, and her guest room is lovely with plenty of warm covers on the big bed. If she offers dinner, definitely accept! She makes great food and you won't leave hungry! We had a great time with her and would certainly stay here again.
About the Host, Jane
I like to travel to meet and spend time with people from different places and cultures. I have loved every place that I visited, Asia, North and South America, Africa, Australia and of course I love to discover new and exciting things about my own country of Ireland. I live at the foot of the Blackstairs Mountains in the South East of Ireland, and spend many hours rambling in the hills, and if you are interested I can guide or advise you on trails in the Blackstairs and also further afield in the Wicklow Mountains and in the Comeragh Mountains. I love to cook, especially for family and friends. I grow a lot vegetables and I am always looking for new and interesting ways to prepare the food from the garden.
