Kaleen's place was wonderful! We were with friends, so two couples staying there and it was very spacious and comfortable for us. The neighbourhood is lovely, lots of little restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The bus stop was also just around the corner which was a great help- you can literally get everywhere! The apartment was clean and tidy and the little extras like coffee and tea, a hairdryer, a vacuum (that sounds random but we had vacuum sealable bags for our clothes so that really came in handy), just added that extra comfort. Also having extra clean towels available if need be was great. In the apartment she has left a lot of brochures (with tips) for a tonne of things to do in San Fran - very convenient! There is also a washing machine and dryer in the building which we needed to use, so not having to go out to find a laundromat was great. Kaleen really went out of her way to accommodate us - we had flight delays and had to change collection of keys and times and it was no problem for her. As well as on the day we checked out, she allowed us a later check out time, with no rush at all. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in San Francisco and would definitely recommend staying at Kaleen's place! We can't wait to go back!

Great place to stay. Easy walking distance to Almo square and the painted ladies. A block and half away from great restaurants and shops. Fully kitted out kitchen, fantastic host. I stayed there with my husband and 2 teenage boys for 3 nights who alternated blowup mattress and bed and worked well. Problem with cable and CARTER came over straight away and sorted it. Woukd definitely stay again.

She kept calling to make sure everything was ok, at the beginning and at the end. And she had answers for the questions. The descriptions were all accurate. Only problem we had was figuring out where to gas up to return the car. There are not a lot of gas stations in the City. we located one on our way back, but that was not her fault. We had a great time, and our friends also had a great time. It felt like we were staying with friends.

We had a great time staying at Kaleen's apartment. She was extremely accommodating. We landed in the city in the morning and she let me come by to drop off our luggage before the check in time while she was cleaning. Which wasn't necessary since we had a car but so appreciated because then I got to have a nice little chat with her and get the keys. My husband was in an appointment that lasted until the evening so it was so helpful to be able to see where the apartment was in the daytime and know where I was going back to at night, and having the keys already just made it way less stressful as far as not having to stick to a time frame. The apartment was very cute. The pictures were not deceiving at all. Cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. She has a great sense of style all throughout. Love love love the mural on the wall in the living room. Such a stellar piece of art. There were a lot of big beautiful windows and a very nice outdoor patio. We loved the neighborhood. Very central to where we wanted to be this trip. Parking was a little difficult to find when we came back on Friday evening, but we found non-metered a few blocks away. No big deal, because everything is so close in San Fran. So don't sweat the lack of parking on her actual street. We were lucky the other two days finding a spot in front of the house. Another very kind thing she did for us was give us a late check out. We had a 9pm flight and she said since there wasn't anyone checking in that day and she wasn't planning on being back to the apartment either, we could stay and leave our bags and leave when it was convenient. We had a fabulous time that day leisurely packing and cleaning up and then walking around the neighborhoods. Went back to the apartment after dinner to grab our bags, refrigerator items we bought and the car and everything was easy and perfect. Oh and did I mention she left us a very nice little bottle of champagne which we enjoyed while getting ready for dinner the first night. Thanks so much again Kaleen, we are looking forward to returning!!

Kaleen was a great host. Met us at the apartment and had put the heat on for us as it was a cold evening. She had maps of San Francisco and tourist brochures in the place. It was a really big apartment, lovely bedrooms, two bathrooms. Spacious and very nice. The location was great for walking distance to Hayes Street where there is alot of restaurants and bars. It is quite far from the metro system. However, Kaleen had said there was parking easily available, but we could not find any parking and struggled every day to move the car from one 2hr spot to another. There really wasn't any place to park your car all day whilst out sight-seeing. This was the only problem we had with the listing, otherwise it was amazing.

As my first experience of airbnb, I can't hope it be better. The apartment is amazing and I will introduce it to all of my friends! Thank you so much, Kaleen! 非常棒的住宿体验!房间比图片展示的更好,Kaleen 甚至贴心地为我们准备了啤酒和整盒鸡蛋!门口有便利店,还有公交车站,可以很方便地去westfields逛吃逛吃!

I am a graphic designer and a long-time resident of San Francisco. I am passionate about art, my family, dogs, yoga, the great outdoors and good food. I also volunteer at dog rescue organizations.

I have traveled a great deal and understand the frustrations tourists can experience. San Francisco is a city of only 49 square miles/127 square kilometers, but it is unique and very culturally diversity. As a host, I can help enrich the your travel experience in San Francisco and the Bay Area.
