Well situated at the heart of the vibrant ski station of Verbier and nestled in the magnificent Swiss nature, the location is breathtaking and the view is splendid. Just the ideal place to relax in front of the fire place after a good day of ski!

Interaction with Guests
I will not be present on-site except for welcoming guests upon arrival.
During their stay, I will be available by phone or email to answer any questions and for assistance.
As the chalet is quite near the center, it is difficult to choose among the great number of shops, bars and restaurants. Let's say that I like the restaurant Al Capone (book) which is precisely a bit off-centre. The grocery shop Brunet is not to far away and can be of help in case something is missing in your fridge (fresh food is poor but cheeses are great). The closer bar is the famous pub Mt Fort. The big grocery stores are Migros and Coop. There are so many sporting goods stores that you'd better choose yourself. Maybe the ones near Médran are the most practical. Try the restaurant Millenium, Caveau or Borsalino which are good and in the center. You'd better reserve.
- From Geneva airport, by car, 160 km, 2 hours (with smooth traffic). By making previous bookings, private transport companies provide the shuttle service between Geneva airport and Verbier and vice-versa. Addresses available.
- From Sion airport, by car, 50 km, 1 hour.
- From the 2 airports, public transport: train and bus.
Other Things to Note
The price is ALL-INCLUSIVE: tourism taxes, beds made on arrival, kitchen and bath towels, firewood, snow removal for access paths and housecleaning & laundry at the end of the stay.
(not included AIRBNB fees)
Since it is a wood chalet, it is advisable to pay particular attention to the risk of fire: no smoking and no candles.
For this reason, because there are no large rooms and we also want to maintain our chalet in good condition, it is not let for events (parties).
Pets are welcome.
We are very happy when our guests, e.g. families with children, athletes who love winter sports, etc. enjoy themselves and take advantage of it.
Christophe, did very well, was very communicative and received us beautifully well and attentive.
We had a great family holiday in the chalet. It was as expected from the hosts descriptions, a traditional old style chalet with stunning views over Verbier. The host was excellent in preparing the accomodation and making us feel at home. Many thanks.
We have had a lovely time in Christophe's chalet. It is the perfect place for a family holiday in Verbier. Not to posh but the true good old chalet experience as we all know from before. The house is cosy and feels very authentic. Bathrooms were up-to-date and clean and all bedlinnen was supplied as well as cleaning in the end.
Christophe has been perfect as a host and communications was always fast and he was always looking for solutions for any questions we had. A true example how AirBnB should work.
Hello, I am a 60-something Swiss man and I’ve been retired for several years. I’m married and I’ve got children and grandchildren under the age of 10. I worked in banking for 35 years. Hobby: abstract painting; sports: skiing, golf (sailing during my youth). My wife and I enjoy bike trips, carrying as little baggage as possible and without a set destination. I could not live without cheese of Gruyère, red wine, water, bread and friendship. When I travel, I like to feel welcome and at home but not overwhelmed by too much care. A personal motto? Perhaps “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
