Sarah's hostel is cozy with a warm chimney for cold Cuzco nights, hot mate de coca always at your disposal, books and games in a nice common room. The location is perfect in the beautiful neighborhood of San Blas (please note that from the plaza de Armas you have to walk uphill to get there, but worth it). The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. They were particularly understanding and accommodating when due to reasons beyond our control we had to modify our stay and cancel 1 night a week before our arrival.
Sarah and crew are extremely warm welcoming. We arrived a day early and they were very accomodating and got us a room. A very good vibe, food (crepe) and recommendations and sleeps we got while in cusco. Highly recommending for those coming to Cusco! * must try their asparagus crepe :)
La Boheme was great! It was even better than I had expected based on the listing. Sarah is so welcoming and personable, along with all of the staff that we met. I went with my mom, and though we only spent one night there, we felt so at ease with everyone there. We were greeted our first morning we were greeted by Sarah who made us a delicious crepe, a smoothie, and tea. We had to leave early the next morning, so they made a bag breakfast for us to go. The place itself was absolutely wonderful. It is homey and artsy, located in San Blas, a great neighborhood, just blocks from the main plaza. We were able to walk down to enjoy the celebrations at night, and come back to a quite, comfortable room. I would recommend this place to anyone, and would return in a heartbeat on my next trip to Cusco.
My friend and i had only a short stay at Backpacker & Creperie La Boheme, but we enjoyed it very much. Cosy place with very nice and helpful hosts. It's also very close to the center!
Sarah was great and super attentive. My schedule was crazy at the time so I wasn't able to spend much time with her, but she made sure that I was taken care of. The place has a really good vibe and excellent food. I highly recommend this place.
Great and cosy place to stay, nearby the center. Hostess was nice, friendly and helpfull.
I strongly recommend the place.
You also enjoy crepes in the morning...
My sister and I had an excellent time staying at La Boheme for a few nights. Sarah and her team were wonderful hosts. We most enjoyed hanging out in the common room -- very cozy with good music, a fireplace, beer, wine, coffee, and of course crepes!
I had a great experience at this cozy and welcoming house. I say house because the whole feeling for me was as if i was at a friends house. Nice bed, hot shower great food pleasant company what else do you need. To top it all off Sara was gracious enough to leave me a crepe on the counter the day I left at 4am for Machu Pichu.
My friend and I loved our stay at La Boheme. Great views of the city, comfy couches to read and journal on, and all the staff are super cool and fun! Five stars! Two thumbs up!
